    Dryer installed at delivery and dryer is heating but not drying clothes. Either appliance or installation not right. Extremely disappointing. I do not recommend buying this dryer from Best Buy.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

    UPDATE: Please heed my advise when I say this dryer is the worst appliance you could ever purchase. I bought this as a set with the washer and the washer is perfectly fine (nothing great either). After I bought this at $700, the price dropped. It takes NO LESS than three cycles for my clothes to get dried. I spoke to Best Buy and got a replacement and the issue still continues. They won't refund me or exchange the dryer because it's bee past 15 days of purchase. Please make sure that whatever you do buy you return or exchange before 15 days otherwise you're stuck with it. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DRYER!!

    All the rave reviews can't be for this dryer!!

    Model #WED4950HW may be the worst dryer I have ever bought. Takes forever to dry a load - 2 hrs. Distorted my expensive sheets. Noisy noisy noisy! Whirlpool doesn't make them like they used to. My last dryer was a Whirlpool and it was perfect! I wish I could get it back and have it fixed. That's why I decided to go with Whirlpool again. All these rave reviews can not be for this model! You shouldn't put reviews under this model if they were for another model. Very misleading!! I bought this model based on the RAVE reviews! I won't make that mistake again.

    Dryer shuts off in mide cycle.

    I bought this whirlpool dryer in 2020, but 3 yrs later it started creating problems. It wasn't drying clothes properly, It turned off automatically in mid-cycles. I called Whirlpool, the technician came and recommended buying a Samsung dryer instead of Whirlpool, because the heating motor replacement cost $500 and the new one cost around $499 too. I wouldn't recommend buying it.

    I JUST got this Whirlpool dryer TODAY. It will not dry a full load of clothes. They came out damp. It will not dry towels. It stopped while it was still set to be running. So upset. Will be returning this piece of junk. Do not buy this. Other 1 star reviews are very similar to the problems I'm having.... cant be coincidence, people! The ones that rave this dryer is great must be cool with wearing wet clothes. Buyer beware!

    Depending on what I am drying it may take two 70 minute cycles to dry clothes especially towels.

    Timer went out

    Purchased 2/10/17 was working fine until 10/31/19. Loaded and selection made and started around 10:00PM. Should have finished 1 hor and 15 minutes later, dryer was still running when I got up at 6:30 AM. Timer knob hadn’t moved. Opened door to stop it. Purchased because USA made and high reviews. My experience with dryer wasn’t good.

    This dryer doesn't dry :(

    This dryer doesn't dry except after multiple cycles for most loads. I'm having to exchange it.

    Poor quality

    My first whirlpool dryer lasted for 19 years with no issues. Just over 2 years of owning this one, the dryer drum seal started tearing. What a complete disappointment.
