Purchased this to replace our 21 year old dryer. Wife says that the new one dries faster than our old one, and it matches our whirlpool washer we purchased last year. So, I’m happy as she’s happy. The delivery and setup was very efficient.

This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My dryer broke on Saturday morning, and I have a 5-year Geek Squad warranty. I contacted Best Buy via chat and was told that it’s not really a five-year warranty because the first year falls under the manufacturer’s warranty. I was instructed to call the manufacturer first — even though it was the weekend and the manufacturer was closed. Only after the manufacturer determined it was not a recall would Best Buy “try” to help. This was unacceptable and extremely misleading. At no point during the purchase was I told that the five-year Geek Squad warranty effectively only covers four years, nor is that clearly explained at the time of sale. I then called Best Buy and spoke with Juan, who repeatedly said there was nothing he could do. He refused to escalate my call and told me a supervisor would call me back in 1–1.5 hours. No one ever called. When I called back, I spoke with Jesse, who told me supervisors never call customers back — meaning I was outright lied to previously. After pressing repeatedly, I was finally connected to Eric, who stated he was a supervisor. Eric apologized profusely and promised he would personally call Whirlpool Monday morning and then call me back. I specifically asked that this call be documented and audited. He reassured me he “had my back.” He never called. There were no notes added to my case. No escalation occurred. My case number is 368424926. When I called back again, I was forced to start the entire process over, only to be told there were no notes, no follow-up, and no way to reach the supervisor I had spoken to. I was even told Eric may work “in another country” and could not be identified. I was offered no resolution, no temporary solution, and no accountability — despite paying extra for protection. I was also told I could not return the appliance because Best Buy’s appliance return policy is only 15 days. So to summarize: My appliance broke My warranty was misleading I was bounced between departments I was lied to about a supervisor callback No notes were documented No one followed through I lost three days with no working dryer during a holiday week Ending every call with “Thank you and have a wonderful day” after offering no help is insulting. I work in customer service and understand challenges — but this was systemic failure, not a one-off. I will never purchase appliances or warranties from Best Buy again, and I strongly encourage others to shop elsewhere

The dryer took almost 2 months to arrive and I had to go to the store to get it rescheduled when they canceled our first appointment. The dryer is easy to use; however, it does not do as good a job of drying as our old dryer. For bigger loads or heavier clothes, we end up needing to add more drying time. I believe this may be due to the new "efficient" dryer. The top of the machine filter tray also ends up leaving lint all over the top of the dryer. It is all minor inconvenience. We do like the drop-down door for easier loading and unloading. It also has better lighting.

This is a great dryer and is very quiet. I love the hamper door for the ease of unloading the clothers.

This is the 2nd whirlpool dryer I’ve purchased. The 1st lasted 19 years. This one performing well. It is quiet and efficient and I really like the updated controls.

So far I’ve had this dryer for a week, and so far so good!! It drys the clothes real good, the light feature is a PLUS! Love the way it opens the clothes don’t fall out. Overall love the dryer so far!

Quality product at a good price. It fits quite a bit. I haven't dried my queen comforter yet, but it most definitely will fit. It dries clothes efficiently and in a timely manner. If I could change anything I would have the door open to one side. Also the nobs don't click into notches so making selections most times is a guestimate. For ease of use and precision for perfectionists like myself, this would have been a great modification.

We had to put our Original Maytag dryer out to pasture after 33 faithful years!!! So when I say we knew nothing about the dryer market, I mean it! We wanted made in America and a very middle of the road price because our appliance repairman said they all basically have the same guts so all the bells and whistles waste your money! This dryer fits the bill! The installation was professional, the dryer works just great and we’re satisfied!
