    Needed to replace 12 year old dryer that could not be repaired. Looked for a basic dryer and have had whirlpool dryers in the past. This one fit the want list at the right price and availability. Only had it for a couple of months and very satisfied with the performance.

    This was a great dryer, for two months, until Hurricane Ian hit on 9-28-22. Ian took out everything I purchased at Best Buy - Refrigerator, Washer, & Dryer !! I was crushed, still am !!!

    We re-bought this washer and the matching dryer after our 12 year old duplcate was struck by lightening when our house was hit. There was nothing wrong with the older one and it would have kept on going I am sure for a few more years. These are wonderful machines.

    For starters, the dryer is very good, quiet and easy to use. The downfall, the sensor drying, does not dry clothes. Are usually have to run it twice, when drying jeans or sweatshirts. I had thought the smart sensor would save time and money, because it would sense of the clothes were still wet. I have not found that to be the case, so I’m disappointed in that aspect. Overall it is a good dryer, just a little aggravating when you have to go and restart the clothes for a second cycle.

    Hamper doors are where its at! It is disappointing that models are going away from them. Not all laundry spaces can accommodate a swinging door! Super quiet. Does exactly what it was made to do. Love it!
