My new electric dryer is great. It dries very quickly. I like the bright light inside. It runs very efficient. The hookup was very easy, I did it myself.

This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My dryer broke on Saturday morning, and I have a 5-year Geek Squad warranty. I contacted Best Buy via chat and was told that it’s not really a five-year warranty because the first year falls under the manufacturer’s warranty. I was instructed to call the manufacturer first — even though it was the weekend and the manufacturer was closed. Only after the manufacturer determined it was not a recall would Best Buy “try” to help. This was unacceptable and extremely misleading. At no point during the purchase was I told that the five-year Geek Squad warranty effectively only covers four years, nor is that clearly explained at the time of sale. I then called Best Buy and spoke with Juan, who repeatedly said there was nothing he could do. He refused to escalate my call and told me a supervisor would call me back in 1–1.5 hours. No one ever called. When I called back, I spoke with Jesse, who told me supervisors never call customers back — meaning I was outright lied to previously. After pressing repeatedly, I was finally connected to Eric, who stated he was a supervisor. Eric apologized profusely and promised he would personally call Whirlpool Monday morning and then call me back. I specifically asked that this call be documented and audited. He reassured me he “had my back.” He never called. There were no notes added to my case. No escalation occurred. My case number is 368424926. When I called back again, I was forced to start the entire process over, only to be told there were no notes, no follow-up, and no way to reach the supervisor I had spoken to. I was even told Eric may work “in another country” and could not be identified. I was offered no resolution, no temporary solution, and no accountability — despite paying extra for protection. I was also told I could not return the appliance because Best Buy’s appliance return policy is only 15 days. So to summarize: My appliance broke My warranty was misleading I was bounced between departments I was lied to about a supervisor callback No notes were documented No one followed through I lost three days with no working dryer during a holiday week Ending every call with “Thank you and have a wonderful day” after offering no help is insulting. I work in customer service and understand challenges — but this was systemic failure, not a one-off. I will never purchase appliances or warranties from Best Buy again, and I strongly encourage others to shop elsewhere

Terrific capacity, interior light and shelf like door make this dryer extremely easy to use.

This machine gives me several options for drying and the alert for when it is done warns me that my clothes will not be wrinkled. Great for busy families. I can fit a large comforter in this one! It dries in no time!

I really love the large capacity, the internal light (so I don't forget any socks behind) and the way the door opens down is so wonderful because I fold my laundry while still warm to avoid wrinkles. I have experienced a couple of times where the laundry was too large and did not dry thoroughly so I avoid overloading it.

This is a great dryer for the price. I highly recommend.

It does what it is supposed to do dry clothing the reason I purchased this unit was how simple the controls are nothing fancy to break down. Al all my appliances are all Whirlpool and I’ve had good experience with him.

Nothing wrong with this dryer - it works very well. HOWEVER- I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU PURCHASE IT ELSEWHERE. BEST BUY CHARGES FOR DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION, PLUS EXTRA FOR HAUL-AWAY OF OLD DRYER IF THIS IS A REPLACEMENT. THE IDIOTS THAT THEY SENT TO DELIVER AND INSTALL, INCLUDING SET-UP OF DRYER VENTING PIPE, DID A TERRIBLE JOB. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE INSTALLATION MANUAL WHILE THEY WERE WORKING. IF I HAD, I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THEY DID THE INSTALLATION INCORRECTLY, IN FACT CREATING A FIRE HAZARD IN MY HOME !!!! WHEN I CONTACTED BEST BUY TO REPORT THIS, THEY REFUSED TO CORRECT THE FAULTY INSTALLATION, FORCING ME TO FIGURE IT OUT AND DO IT MYSELF. IF I HAD KNOWN THAT "GEEK SQUAD" WAS CODE FOR "UNTRAINED CHIMPANZEES" (NO OFFENSE MEANT TO CHIMPS WITH NORMAL CHIMP INTELLIGENCE), I WOULD CERTAINLY HAVE PURCHASED THIS DRYER ELSEWHERE!!!!
