Love this dryer! Works great and has way more space than I originally thought. Dries fairly fast. Very satisfied.

Had to help our 95 yo neighbor replace her ancient dryer. This one was the perfect option for her. Simple controls, easy to open door, and a match to her washer. She is very happy with it. In this case simplicity is best without all the new fangled electronic programming and controls.

The dryer fit nicely in laundry room and RUNS like a champ. Features are simplistic while performing wonderfully.

For the price it works. No bells or whistles.. but gets the job done

This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My dryer broke on Saturday morning, and I have a 5-year Geek Squad warranty. I contacted Best Buy via chat and was told that it’s not really a five-year warranty because the first year falls under the manufacturer’s warranty. I was instructed to call the manufacturer first — even though it was the weekend and the manufacturer was closed. Only after the manufacturer determined it was not a recall would Best Buy “try” to help. This was unacceptable and extremely misleading. At no point during the purchase was I told that the five-year Geek Squad warranty effectively only covers four years, nor is that clearly explained at the time of sale. I then called Best Buy and spoke with Juan, who repeatedly said there was nothing he could do. He refused to escalate my call and told me a supervisor would call me back in 1–1.5 hours. No one ever called. When I called back, I spoke with Jesse, who told me supervisors never call customers back — meaning I was outright lied to previously. After pressing repeatedly, I was finally connected to Eric, who stated he was a supervisor. Eric apologized profusely and promised he would personally call Whirlpool Monday morning and then call me back. I specifically asked that this call be documented and audited. He reassured me he “had my back.” He never called. There were no notes added to my case. No escalation occurred. My case number is 368424926. When I called back again, I was forced to start the entire process over, only to be told there were no notes, no follow-up, and no way to reach the supervisor I had spoken to. I was even told Eric may work “in another country” and could not be identified. I was offered no resolution, no temporary solution, and no accountability — despite paying extra for protection. I was also told I could not return the appliance because Best Buy’s appliance return policy is only 15 days. So to summarize: My appliance broke My warranty was misleading I was bounced between departments I was lied to about a supervisor callback No notes were documented No one followed through I lost three days with no working dryer during a holiday week Ending every call with “Thank you and have a wonderful day” after offering no help is insulting. I work in customer service and understand challenges — but this was systemic failure, not a one-off. I will never purchase appliances or warranties from Best Buy again, and I strongly encourage others to shop elsewhere

I had waited so long for this dryer. Everything takes longer now but it was well worth the wait. After the guys left I started washing my overfilled basket. I washed 3 loads back to back and dried them as well. Everything went perfectly!! I love the inside light that allows me to see I haven't left anything behind. There are several settings from heavy to fluffy dry. You are sure to find your favorite setting. I enjoyed the cool down cycle because some things like jeans with hardware can get hot but with the cooldown you can count on not touching anything hot. The wrinkle shield was put there I guess for people like me that waits a long time and then have to use it to get the wrinkles out!! In all, I love it. Whirlpool has never disappointed me so far!!

So far its been great!! It dries quick and the cold tumble dry setting is a life saver for those with denim or heat sensitive clothes!

I would have loved for the matching electric agitator washing machine to have had the end-of-cycle signal like this dryer. I had a previous Whirlpool set that both had the end-of-cycle signal and once you have something that was a plus you don't want to back up just go for more but not less. I wish the lint trap was in the door like my previous dryer instead of on top of the dryer. It's not even straight when pulled out to clean and it appears to me to be a problem possibly in the future. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hopefully no one else in the family will try to clean it.
