    I got this specifically because of how the door opens down instead of opening left and right. I am very familiar with the brand whirlpool as it is affordable and fairly easy to fix

    Would totally recommend this simple but highly effective dryer. Usually appliances with lot of electronics can get a bit maintenance prone due to a lot of functionality offered. Whirlpool keeps it simple by having just the basic functions expected of a dryer - not sure why you would want more in any case. Very effective and have been using for 2 years now without a single issue

    I like that I can see the different settings without trouble, and that the dials are ease to hold onto and turn. There are enough setting that you can choose from for any type of laundry you put in. The "wrinkle shield" is great when you can't get "right there" when when the cycle signal goes off. The cycle signal is loud enough to hear, some may not like it, but my old dryer wasn't very loud.
