Ordered this on April 29th after a different purchase from Best Buy of a Maytag dryer that literally didn't work at all. This one has a hard time drying towels and things like the cuffs on sweatshirts or the waist of jeans, even after it runs on high temp for 70 minutes. Started having problems right after the 30 days expired to return it to the store, now here we are at the beginning of June and the drum is clanking and screeching so loud I can't even run the dryer. I called to see what my options are and now I'm stuck going through Whirlpool's warranty program and someone has to come out to look at it. I wish I never bought this thing. I was hoping that after picking a model that was digital (the one that didnt work) and then just going for one that has old school dials that maybe it would be built a little better, I was wrong. Save yourself the headache and RUN AWAY from this dryer.

Works great! Not too nosy, hard to determine best time to set it too but still gets the job done.

Works well with the Whirlpool 3.8 cu. ft. washer I bought as a package on Labor Day. Got about $110 in gift cards for buying the pair plus another $25 from Best Buy. Overall cost including sales tax for the pair was $1163. Definitely no complaints for that.

It’s a straightforward clothes dryer. We do like the fact the door opens down instead of left to right. It catches anything that could fall on the floor as we don’t have to switch the sides if we move. The cycle complete buzzer is very loud but, you can turn it off. Simply put it does its job and does it well.

Installation was easy and simple. No issues thus far

So far, so good. It’s just a basic, no frills dryer unlike my previously owned one which had too many options that could malfunction.

Meets my expectation - great value dryer for a big family.

Recently purchased this dryer for my new apartment. Has worked very well for the first 5 loads. Sometimes takes a little longer than my old dryer, but not terribly long. The alerts are a little loud and annoying, but can easily be turned off

Installation instruction was simple to understand, thus making self installation uneventful. Dryer is simple to operate and does a fair job of drying...although the heating is not as hot as my last dryer that this replaced, thus require longer cycle to dry a load.

Love this dryer. The door is loud upon closing but other than that it a great machine.

This dryer works well. The best extra feature it has is a wrinkle free tumbler. When the load is done, if it is not unloaded right away the drum will tumble the load periodically to prevent wrinkling the clothes. This dryer works better than the one it replaced.

This is a great value for a basic dryer. I had a much more sophisticated dryer but when it died, I opted to go for less bells and whistles and I'm very happy with it! Also, the delivery service and installation was extremely professional and convenient.

Excellent dryer. Was great to be able to see it online, order it, and drive over to Best Buy and pick up the same day. Other stores with the same dryer online required having it delivered from their warehouse, with up to 2 weeks until delivery.

Great experience, my wife loves the Dryer & the two gentlemen that delivered & set up the Dryer were very friendly & did a super job. I will recommend Best Buy to my friends & family. Thanks! James Emmett Capley

I received the dryer in late November- the day after Christmas I was taking a load of laundry out and I noticed a large brown area by the right vent. Looking closer I saw that the back of the dryer was warped and bending. I exchanged it for the same model. The first day after two loads the same thing. The back of the dryer was warped and bending. I also had the electrician in 3 times. Once when my original dryer broke just to make sure it wasn’t electrical. Then after the first defective Whirlpool and then again after the second defective Whirlpool. Each time he said that everything looked good and there was no issue with my wiring or outlet. I’ve had many Whirlpool products in the past- never an issue. I’ll never buy another one again. If I could give no stars I would.

I originally purchased this dryer for my Mother In Law at the store with a specific amperage requirement. Ended up returning delivery due to salesman error. Other than that, all products arrived as described and customer service was friendly and accommodating.

I love having the door that drops down! It allows me to pull the clothes out of the dryer without dropping them on the floor!!
