This dryer is just what we needed. It has a very big drum. I can dry more clothes per load. It dries our clothes faster.

I purchased this dryer for my 95 year old mother because of the simplicity of operation and the reputation of manufacture.

Just the right amount of features that we will use. We really appreciate the Wrinkle Shield setting that periodically fluffs the load so they don't wrinkle if you aren't able to unload the dry clothes right away. I also like the center pull down door that won't swing one way or another while you are getting the clothes in and out.

Replaced a 30+ year old Maytag. Simple and easy to use. So far so good.

Having to buy a new dryer isn't fun, but this new dryer works great. It doesn't have some of the fancier setting on more expensive models, but does a great job of quickly drying my clothes.

Very big could put big towels or covers easily to dry

I really love this dryer. The drop down door almost ensures anything dropped does not hit the floor. The light really helps when unloading too. I have noticed that the normal dry leaves things damp which I suppose is to accommodate hanging items and no wrinkles.

It does what its supposed to. Nothing fancy or overly complicated. Less thing to go wrong in the future.

Prior to buying this Whirlpool Dryer, I had a Kenmore Washer and Dryer which I bought in 1996. They both have lasted until now. I noticed the Whirlpool seemed very similar to the Kenmore dryer. I pulled out the Lint trap on both; the Kenmore trap fits the Whirpool dryer, and even though thr Kenmore is 30 years old; it is 100% better constructed than the Whirlpool lint trap. I also had to buy the kit to connect the dryer to the gas line. Im 67 and did the connections on my own. However, if you don't have the tools, the ability to bend over or sit on the floor to make the connections, then invest in the installment, and removal of the old machines. It's worth it! I just hope this machine lasts at least the amount of life I have left, as a cancer patient!
