Clothes will be hot but damp. As some other users have written, it takes a minimum of two cycles to even get close to drying. I have checked the vent hoses at each connection point and all is fine. The dryer is obviously receiving gas otherwise no heat would be generated. This is a horrible appliance made by a company who could be trusted at one point but no longer. Stay away from this machine.

Don’t trust Best Buy

Both were “brand new” out the box but both were dented. Was told I would get a refund or gift card for $275 and it’s been over a month and I still haven’t received anything just keep getting the run around. They delivered another dryer and that one as well was damaged but worse.

Must use Timed Dry. When I called for service they told me if the heating unit was not defective I would have to pay for the service call. If the heating unit works on Timed Dry, I guess it’s not defective. Definitely not satisfied.

Terrible Product Now

This dryer is horrible, it doesn't get the clothes dry. I'm returning it, which is something I've never had to do. I paid to have it delivered so I hope they will pick it up.

Posted .Dear Eeyore: We are sorry to learn of your Dryer concerns. 90% of improper drying is due to venting issues, and not problems with the dryer, as long as it is heating. Make sure the vent is not blocked, and the air is flowing properly. You can try to vacuum out the bottom of the dryer, to remove any excess lint in the bottom as that will help to reducing drying time. If you have an old bottle brush, clean out the blower area where the lint screen is and swipe the brush to remove excess lint from the blower area. If the dryer is running, then run the dryer without the venting. See how long it takes to dry without the venting in place. If it dries fine, then you know the venting is the issue. Worst Purchase in Retail Consumer History

Found it did not have a humidity sensor so required frequent re-start cycles for complete drying. Best Buy agreed to replacement with unit they swore had such a sensor. Unit delivered still requires up to 5 re-starts to complete a single load. Even worse, door latch has an obvious design defect. So the weight of moisture-laden clothing often pushes door open and unit stops automatically. When I check on status an hour after last re-start, I find only 5 minutes of drying has elapsed before unit automatically shut down. It can take an entire day to complete a single dryer load. It was easily the WORST PURCHASE IN RETAIL CONSUMER HISTORY.

My only issue is that upon starting the third load it started making a very loud grinding sound like the blower wheel was grinding up against the housing. Not a good start for a brand new dryer.
