Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Cabrio 7.0 Cu. Ft. 24-Cycle Electric Dryer's performance, particularly its drying speed, large capacity, and ease of use. Many appreciate its quiet operation and the variety of settings available. A small number of customers expressed concerns about the dryer door's sturdiness and ease of opening and closing. Overall, the positive feedback significantly outweighs the negative comments regarding the door.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my dryer less than a week and it is not working. Already have to do maintenance on it. The first couple days it worked it was great. I'm disappointed now as I depend on a dryer to work when I need it to. Did not expect this to happen on a new product.

great performance, great value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we purchased this as part of a washer/dryer set when our existing machines either failed or had seen better days. Likes: the inside of the dryer is huge; it dries heavy loads easily; there are a big variety of settings so you can easily tailor the cycle to your needs; lint catcher is outside the machine, easier to clean; pretty quiet. Dislikes: not sure how to disable the electronic tune that plays every time you turn it on or off; electronic controls might feel daunting to some. For the price, which was quite reasonable considering some of the alternatives, it's great.

Very good dryer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this dryer together with the matching washer. It works fine so far. I like that it can stop on its own when the clothes are dry. We used to waste so much energy with the old dryer because we did not have the time to constantly check if the clothes were already dry and stop it. The only issue that I have experienced with this dryer is the occasional power failure. I have used the dryer for two months now, and power failure has happened twice. The first time I thought the dryer was broken. The screen was dead, no indicators at all, the light inside the dryer was out. I tried resetting it by pulling the power cord and plugging it back in, but it did not work. I called Whirlpool support immediately, and they told me to turn off the circuit breaker, wait for at least 5 minutes, and turn the circuit breaker back on. I did those steps and the indicator lights came back to the screen. This procedure had reset the dryer. It happened again the other day, and I did the same reset routine. I really hope that this is not a serious issue with the dryer. However, it is annoying. Especially, since our circuit breakers are in the garage and not very conveniently located. In terms of performance, I think the dryer works great. I hope it will last.

END OF CYCLE BEEP INAUDIBLE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great dryer, but unless you're standing RIGHT IN FRONT of the machine, you WON'T hear the "end of cycle" beep. It supposedly has 3 levels of intensification, but they really all sound the same, a very mild beep. I guess that I am just used to my old Whirlpool that had a very loud buzzer that you could hear clear across the house. I tried using a kitchen timer, and synchronizing it to the timed display of the dryer, but for some reason, the dryer always finishes early. This is but a minor annoyance, but I just wanted to mention it to potential customers.

Meh
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dryer has a mind of its own. In order to get my low-heat permanent press things dry, I have to use the timed dry cycle and guess. I don't like the top lint trap--gets dust all over when I remove it. The wrinkle-free feature isn't a continuous tumble--it just restarts every ten minutes and revolves once or twice. A positive is that the exterior style is very nice. I miss my old boring model that let me control the settings and did a better job. I wish someone had posted an honest review before I bought it.

Does the job
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't looking for all the bells and whistles, just a simple clothes dryer. For this it does the job. It probably has more settings than I require, but that's alright. It's used almost daily and so far has dried as expected every time. Exactly what I expected and was looking for in the price range.

LOUD
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.MY DRYER IS SO LOUD, AND WHEN I GOT AROUND TO CALLING BESTBUY AND THEY SENT SOME ONE OUT, I WAS TOLD IT WAS INSTALLED INCORRETLY. THE WASHER AND DRYER WERE REVERSED. BEST BUY WOULD NOT SEND THE INSTALLERS BACK OUT SINCE IT HAS BEEN OVER A MONTH, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THERE MISTAKE. THE SUPERVISOR WAS SO RUDE, AND SAID ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM NOW. THIS MAY BE MY LAST PURCHASE FROM BESTBUY!!!

Nice touch screen display, noisier than expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is much noisier than my prior Cabrio dryer. I'm not sure what Whirlpool is thinking, but this does matter if you live in an apartment. It has good drying performance but if noise matters to you don't get this. I will be exchanging this for an LG.

Total junk.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Total junk. Had to get fixed multiple times. The belt keeps breaking. Had since 2019, and it’s been nothing but problems. Do not buy. Do not buy Whirlpool, either. Got a washer at the same time, and that, too, had to get repaired multiple times. Appliances like this should be hassle free at this point.

Good Dryer - Not so good internals
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this dryer in 2018 to replace a dryer from probably the early 90's. Well here we are in a lockdown and it is throwing a F4E4 code and won't turn on. Looked online and says I should replace the $300.00 control board. I wish they made them simple again and longer lasting again. 2 years is not good enough - Disappointed.

Do Not Buy - Does Not Dry!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a horrible dryer! We've had this dryer for about a year and a half now. The ONLY way it gets anything dry (mostly dry) is on the Towels, Sanitize settings. That's supposedly extremely high heat. This is terrible, because most items we don't want to use high heat on - they could shrink. Unfortunately, I'm just hang-drying my laundry now because I got sick of ending up with completely wet loads and having to do them a couple more cycles on SANITIZE. This is not a new problem, by the way, it's been happening since day one. And, yes, we have already gone through trouble-shooting and find nothing that would be causing this problem.
