We shopped a lot and ended up with Whirlpool-the recommendation of our service man of 20 years. Its working very well.

Good products, easy to use, and energy efficient. Did not get the risers with this, either, doesn't bother me to bend, although some people might not like it.

I've only had it for a few works but so far so good. It's quiet and runs smooth.

Doesn't dry on every cycle the way it should because clothes are still damp when dryer is finished!!

I always wanted a front facing washer and dryer. I finally got one when the washing machine I had started to leak. I only needed the washer but decided to get both with the stands. It is amazing how little things can make you so excited and make your life so much easier. The only thing is I have to get a longer hook up hose so I can connect the dryer to the water supply in order to use all the features on my dryer.

Exchanged an open box LG dryer that was defective for this, which matched our washer. The folks at my Gurnee, IL Bestbuy could not have been nicer and are super customer-centric. Love this new dryer, which replaced a 16 yr old junker which came with our newly purchased house last year.

I have had my dryer exactly one day. The "steam" feature clearly isn't working. I put in a pair of pants that were fully dry to get the wrinkles out . i put the dryer on steam refresh. Waited 10 minutes.. opened the door to find the pants LITERALLY dripping soaking wet like they were in a tub of water. .. tried it again.. waited 30 minutes.. on regular dry.. pants still SOAKED... i disconnected the water hose, ran the dryer without steam settings to FINALLY dry the pants.. This washer is clearly defective and going back ASAP!.. I have the Gas version ..

I'm sure the dryer is fine. Our last one lasted 10 years. My problem is with the delivery. They delivered the gas dryer and would not install it and wouldn't take my old one even though I paid the $14 for them to do so. "We can't install, we're not plumbers". They just left the new one. Now I get to install it myself when I get home. Read the fine print when buying online. I'll never buy from them again. I called to ask why. On hold 18 minutes, the lady said I have to transfer you to some other department. I'm on hold for 2 minutes and they hang up on me. Unbelievable
