Finished installing it a week later due to performing some plumbing. Washed five or six loads, then as it began filling for the next load, we noticed running from under the washer. Checked hoses and the leak was not there. Contacted warranty repair on 02/01/2021. They scheduled a service visit on 02/10/2021. Service man found a part that needed to be replaced and said they would have to order the part from the factory. I called the service company on 02/26/2021 to find out when my dishwasher might get repaired. they told me that it would possibly be 03/03/2021. Haven't had reliable performance from this product nor Whirlpool Warranty Service. To top it off, I received a letter from Whirlpool today wanting me to purchase an extended warranty.

Going to have issues soon. Closing and opening feels cheaply made and definitely not as good as my 15 year old machine. For $600.00 plus? I expect way more. That is wash machine money and those last about 10 plus years. Spend the extra and get the better model. Spring for the stainless steel front and also get the one with a bar handle to open it. Trust me

Luckily I had geek squad protection but now I'm told this model isn't available anymore and the repairs cost more than it's worth so I was given store credit for another dishwasher. Don't think I want to stick with the same brand after this experience.

Purchased this in Feb 2021, and I'm on estimated 21 minute hold with Geek Squad right now (July 2022) because the motor isn't working.
