Stopped working within 30 days of purchase. It is more time consuming attempting to fix it than cleaning out the litter box itself.

The Whisker - Litter-Robot 4 Wi-Fi Covered Automatic Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box with Bundle - Black is just outstanding! Packaging is good and yes the box is huge as this litter box is huge as it should be. Setup is a breeze, and setting up the app went well, BUT I did have problems with the device connecting to my WiFi, I finally just went into my router and gave the cat box a permanent IP address (by assigning the MAC address a static IP. Put some litter in the box up to the line as stated in the manual. Put the very nice litter mat in front of the box and waited for both my 2 cats to go use it. One cat took his time, the first time he used it, but he did and my female cat just went in like their normal box. I was extremely pleased to see both using it like normal right away. I have to empty the cat waste every 4 days about, very nice. The best part is NO litter box smell at all! The box is extremely quiet when it runs. The app tells you when the cats use it and the weight of the cats. It also tells you how full the waste bin is. The box is extremely easy to take apart and clean when needed, and that should be not often at all. I can’t say anything bad about the box, it just works great.

It must be great when it works. I have 3 cats and two used it ok. One never got used to it. I tried all the tricks possible and available and my cat preferred to pee and poop all over the house, everywhere but inside the robot. I had to give up. Watch out for the time you have to return this. The manunfacturer says 90 days but you have to pay for shipping which will be ridiculous expensive. I returned after a month and the cashier did not want to take it back. I had to bring proof online that my return said I had 90 days to give it a try

Has some bugs and little issues you have to deal with, otherwise its a good product.

The Whisker Litter-Robot 4 is an amazing product for cat lovers. We have 2 cats and have been using a standard litterbox for about 10 years. While we were used to the daily ritual of cleaning the litter box, sweeping up litter and emptying the waste container, we were ready for a change. We weren't sure how the cats were going to take the Litter Robot. We have one laid back lazy cat and one very skittish one. Regardless, we went for it. Setting up the Litter Robot 4 was easy. It comes fully assembled so it is just a matter of unpacking, downloading the app, and plugging it in. The app will guide through setup and Wi-Fi connection. I had zero issues with the app and it was hassle free. Like with everything else, you will need to create a Whisker account to sign in. This particular accessory bundle is great but definitely not necessary. You can use a regular trash bag for the waste bin, and you don't need the wipes or scented filter sachets. The mat is really nice though. Catches all those litter pieces which is a huge bonus. In terms of operation, the Litter Robot 4 is super quiet and very intelligent. The cat sensors and scale seem to be working great. Also, the feed back and data you get within the app is very cool. It will tell when your cat has used the litter box, how much they weighed, and when the cleaning cycle is done. It also tracks the complete history of the litter box usage. Very cool app!! Lastly, and most importantly, how did the cats adapt? Our skittish cat used it the same day with no issues. Our lazy cat took about 3 days to really get used to it. She pooped outside the litter box a couple times and would only pee in the Litter Robot. She stuck her head in several times checking it out and setting off the sensor for the first couple days. Eventually she was cool with it and has been using it consistently since. So just be patient, follow the quick start guide and you will be on your way to never having to scoop cat litter again! We love this product and definitely recommend it if you are looking to invest in an automated litter box!

Was just too big and still needed to change the litter every week. Thought it would be great but ended up returning it.

I bought the bundle and they didn’t send me the bundle items! Basically robbed me for $100.

Worked great for a month or so. Then the flashing blue light started coming on. New one is OTW.

Unfortunately I need to return this. Full liter box next to it, its turned off, and the cat still chose the floor. We've been giving the cat treats on the step of the device and comforting her around it. No lick, 2 weeks in.

Cats would not use and destroyed my wood floor. I tried everything they told me to and did everything in the instructions but it was a no go! I do not recommend if your cats are as stubborn as mine.

When it come to cat ownership, keeping a clean litter box use to be a daily chore. But not any more thanks to the whisker litter robot 4 automatic self cleaning cat litter box. This thing is a game changer. Now only once a week I have to empty the waste container and wipe down the inside of the unit. And emptying the waste is fast and easy. This unit came with a roll of plastic bag liners. So you just pull the waste bin out and lift up and tie the bag, then out to the trash it goes. No scooping required. The unit it self was a little bigger than I expected. But it did fit in the same space where my old litter box was. It also has an app so you can connect with it. This allows you to see when you need to empty the waste bin and add kitty litter. It also weighs your cat when they use the box. And keeps track of it in the app. And if you have kids like me you can lock out all the buttons on the unit and just use the app when need be. It is also very quiet when it operates. It has sensors that can tell when a cat enters it and leaves and you can adjust the time after the cat leaves for it to start its cycle. If a cat tries to enter the unit mid cycle, it automatically stops. This is a big investment, but it is well worth it with time saved.

You all know how it is. Your kid begs you for a cat for years and you tell her, "Yeah, but you need to take care of it," and you finally give in and allow her to get a cat. A few months later, you discover that just as you thought would happen, you are the one taking care of the cat, and the kid has moved on to something else... Sigh... And of course, anyone's least favorite part of taking care of a cat is cleaning the dang litter box. When the Litter Robot became available, I scoffed. How much for a litter box??? No way! But the idea that this would automatically empty the number one's and two's for you, and all you would have to do is empty the bag of poo and clumps out occasionally was sure tempting. So I picked one up. Hardest part? Getting the dang cat to climb in it. She ran away from it when she saw it for the first time. It is big, and I guess it is intimidating for a feline friend who is already skittish. But after coaxing with treats and petting and calling our little furry bum a 'good girl' a whole bunch of times, we got the dang thing to go in the Litter Robot. I swear the first time she peed in it, my daughter and I jumped for joy and fist pumped the air. Anyways, there are a couple of key components to the Litter Robot. One, it is WiFi enabled. It communicates to your smartphone when the cat enters, how much the cat weighs, and how full the poop dumpster is. Pretty cool stuff. You set a timer in the app, and after the cat leaves the Litter Robot, it counts down (in our case five minutes) and then goes into a clean cycle. The litter filters down through a grating as the whole drum turns, the clumps and poop stay on top, and the drum rotates to an opening in the floor that then dumps into the poop basket. The drum turns back to where it was, the kitty litter goes back to where it is supposed to be, and it is ready for the next deposit. Look, I thought it was nuts to spend this much on an automatic litter box. Now I can't live without it. Now I don't have to scoop the litter box, I don't have to smell the poop and urine when the cat's original owner (looking at you, my lovely daughter) decides that cleaning the litter box takes too much effort. Nope, the Litter Robot keeps itself clean and keeps the smell to a minimum. Highly recommended if you'd prefer not to scoop poop for as long as your cat shall live.

No odors. Quiet. Easy to clean. Debated about spending this much money on a litter box; so glad I did.

My cat will use just about any litter box that's near her, but it took her a little while to cozy up to the Litter-Robot 4; and once she did, life was just a little bit better for both of us. First, as with most "smart" devices nowadays, you have to install some app and create an online account, etc. etc. The companion app isn't really necessary if such things concern you. You can still use the onboard buttons to start a manual clean, but the app offers so much more: controlling how long to wait before starting a clean, configuring the night light (yes it has a little light inside to illuminate the litter!) and even weighing your cat! But how well does it scoop? The mechanism is actually pretty simple, but effective - filtering out the good litter and dumping the used clumps into a lined storage bin below. One of the first things I noticed is how QUIET the robot is. This is a bonus since any loud, mechanical noise would have driven my cat away. The system notifies you when it's time to empty the pan, although I found it a little premature...mostly because the used litter dumps more of a hill than a flat surface. But this is a small thing and all it needed was for me to give things a good shake. The unit, as a whole, is pretty plasticky; but it gets the job done. The included accessories are also useful, but I do want to call out the spill mat. It's fantastic! Instead of just being a simple, single piece of plastic, it's actually two layers - with the top having holes to allow excess little to fall into and make cleaning easier. This mat is a very nice touch and works great!

I have always seen these things on tiktok and always wanted to get one because why not. It makes the chore of cleaning a litterbox very easy. I am very lucky that my two cats who have shared one box doesn't care that much if it is dirty reasonably speaking. I could go a few days without cleaning it because of my work schedule I just forget. Anyways I have two cats and they both seem to use it quite fine. My orange cat was curious about it since the minute I set it up. He checked it out and everything. In this bundle you get the floor mats, extra bags for the bin, cleaning wipes that are like the Clorox wipes but cat friendly and these things that is supposed to help stopping the order of cat litter boxes that we all know and love. Anyways The setup is quite easy and I just added the litter I already have for my cats inside. You download the app and connect it to your wifi so it can send you data like when you cat(s) use it. It tells you what time they detect your cat and when it does it cycle. The machine uses sensors and laset to detect when your cat gets in there and when it leaves so this way it won't start doing it while your cat is inside.

The set up to get started for the litter robot was pretty straightforward , my only bone to pick here is with the oder packs that are included. It makes you think your getting a deal when it doesnt even come with the part you need to install them, so basically giving something totally useless unless you buy more. After 750$ could you at least include the components your bundling this with? A wild thought i know. Gosh forbid you dont include something that would request another money grab right.

Best money I’ve ever spent!!! My cats love it! And I never have to scoop again. Not to mention all the money I’m saving not having to buy cat litter as often.

Replaced the older model . This one is much quieter and seems less bulky.
