I have always wanted one final could get on progressive leasing. This new version is amazing easy to use love the app and auto sponsor to detect cat. I clean and empty mine 1x a week for 2 cats. Love extra wide opening great for big/ longer cats. Which is why I did not by the robot3. I got the accessory package and the mat is truly a game changer. It not only traps litter but you can dump the litter back in to the robot. Can use clear trash bags when you run out of what it came with. I have a litter robot bag under and another trash bag on top to elp catch if my other bags break because they are not as thick as the litter robot bags. The lights Chang color to let you know what is needed.

This machine is SO good. We have four cats who are very particular ahout their litter. This has saved us! The cats are happy, there is no mess, and there is no smell!!! The app is helpful and intuitive.

Easy set up, seems to stay much cleaner than my last automatic litter box, quiet, easy to empty, large opening for my fat cat! Most important…. The smell is gone in my house!

All the advertising is true. If you're tired of scooping every time your cat hits the box, look no further. Let's get to why this is great quickly. It just works and works well. The internal "barrel" rotates after a set amount of time (that you can set in the app) and the loose litter falls into a special compartment while the waste is too big to do so and as it rotates, an opening appears at the bottom. The waste falls through the hole into a removable waste bin with a trash liner. What I love is when it rotates back, the stored good litter, returns to the bowl and it slightly over turns from the home position to allow the litter to fall in the perfect center position for it's home position. Since the waste bin is only "in the open" when it's emptying, you don't get smell at all unless they've just went. There's a replaceable carbon filter that you can replace that helps with this as well, but I think it helps less than the bin just not being out in the open air. The app is intuitive and easy to use. It has a smart scale where it will track the weight of your cats. Unfortunately for me, 3 of my 4 cats are very similar in weight so it struggles to measure them correclty. Aside from the buttons on the unit, you can control almost everything from the app since the litter robot connects to the wifi. The instructions are easy to follow so no worries there. Finally cleanup is easy. You pull out the waste bin, tie up the bag, and drop it in your existing trash or take it straight out to the cans. The matt is two layers that separate like a book. I just fold it up like a taco and dump it into the fresh liner for the bin. Also with the core accessories bundle you get some toxic free wipes which I use to wipe down the inside of the barrel. I usually wear gloves and just give it a wipe down when it's in the "emptying" position so all the litter is stowed away and makes the occasional wipe down very easy. This is an easy recommend. It's a big leap on the price but I think it's worth it to keep the house smelling fresh while cutting down on the time, space, and maintenance of 4 boxes vs 1.

This thing is a Godsend. We had been on the fence about this because of the price and because of stories of “robot” litter boxes potentially harming cats. I did a lot of research and learned that the machines that harm cats are built very differently from the Litter Robot by Whisker. This machine is safe and can in no way harm a cat like the stories that are out there. From my understanding and experience with this Litter Robot, this is a very safe and amazing machine! How to the actual robot. It works like a dream for our two cats. They took to it right away with no problems. We have the robot set to run a cycle 7 minutes after use and it has eliminated all foul smells that came with our old regular litter boxes. I had become “nose blind” to the smells for the most part because we cleaned out the litter boxes daily. But no matter how often we cleaned the boxes or which types of litter we used (and we tried many), the house always had a bit of odor. Since having the Litter Robot, our house no longer smells at all. Not even the room that houses the litter robot ever smells. It’s also very convenient as it self cleans. The bag seems small but it takes a while to be filled. And once it’s time to actually clean the robot, it is very easy. Honestly, I wish we had made the decision to get this a lot sooner. We love our cats and determined that living with smells was just a part of the deal. The Litter Robot has changed all of that!

This thing is simply awesome. Recommend you use it as a regular litterbox for a few days (not powered on) so the cat(s) get use to using it and aren't afraid of it. When you do turn it on, I'd set the cycle timer to be 30mins (and tip - turn the interior light off - they done need it and it could distract them when they're walking into the box) to give them plenty of time to get distracted, and off doing something else - otherwise they may still be around the litterbox and be inquisitive as to what's it's doing

It’s very easy to use, definitely worth it especially if you have a busy schedule. My house has not smelled at all since I got it. Best purchase for my fur babies

I struggled with this for a while believing there was no way I would spend this much money on a litter box. However, every other cheaper model from other companies have mixed reviews. The only bad thing I can say about this one is that it may require being reconnected every so often but that is probably an issue with my router and wi-fi. It works, my two cats took to it almost immediately and it makes clean up a breeze. Wonderful. Worth every penny.

I waited too long to get one! I wasn't sure the price was worth it. This robot cuts down my time to clean the cat litter to about 1 minute from previously spending 10 minutes a week of filtering and cleaning. It may not sound like much, but that's almost $600 worth of my time a year I just got back and a better smelling home. Just pull out the drawer, pull out the bag, top off the litter, and hit the cycle button. and the filters keep my room smelling 100% cat-free. The only drawback is that once my cat got used to it, she now thinks it's a toy and likes to hop in it when it cycles, luckily with all the sensors it pauses and resumes after a few minutes. other positive is the app letting me know when it's getting full so I can keep it fresh. A worthwhile investment for me to buy back a little of my time and sanity.

This was the best purchase!! It took my shy kitty a few weeks to get comfortable but she used it right away just hesitant. She did have a back up for a couple weeks. I love it I never have to scoop again. It’s easy to clean. Makes my life so much easier. I definitely recommend.

I have two cats that are roughly 8.5 lbs each and they immediatley took to the litter robot 4 and used it right away. I recommend getting the litter pad for the floor and it makes it super easy to keep surrounding area clean. Even without it there was less residue on the floor when compared to a regular litter box. I only have to change the bag twice a week which is great for two cats. It is very quiet and unless you are right next to it you wint notice when it operates. The app is also great and you could never over fill it wity tye notifications. Great product!

I was very hesitant to buy this considering the price tag, but now I wish I had purchased it sooner. I have three cats, the oldest is 13. I have used every type of litter box/litter you can find and this is by FAR the best product I have ever purchased as far as cleanliness, ease of use for me, and the cats, odor control and ease of deep cleaning. My only regret is not going for the best/newest model, but I was afraid my cats wouldn’t like it — I was wrong.

Very close to perfect. The litter box is in my home office and since my cats don't cover their"business" it can be a real stickbom, plus we were starting to have issues of the cats disliking their box and finding other places. All cured with the litter robot. Cats and people are happy. SOmetimes litter sticks to the liner- easily cured with a silicone spatula now named the crapula.

I got a cat after not having one for years. I forgot how you literally have to scoop every day to avoid smelling the cat box. I researched litter robots and this one was expensive, but I figured they were all at least a couple of hundred dollars and I would go for the one with the best reputation and reviews. I’m glad I did. The setup was not too bad. The app setup was easy. It tells me when I need to empty the bottom tray. I don’t have to scoop anymore. My cat used it as soon as it was set up. I cannot smell any odor and I never have to scoop anymore. I would recommend this to anyone with cats. It’s made life so much easier.

After moving from a knock-off to an actual Whisker Litter Robot, this thing is fantastic! App is great, it's quiet when it cycles, and the cats started using it immediately which was a very nice surprise. The little night light on the inside is a wonderful touch. 5 stars from a 6-cat dad. #catdadapproved

So much better than the traditional litter boxes! My cats were hesitant at first but it was a quick and easy transition. Cleaning the robot is easy and I wish I purchased this sooner!

This has been the best purchase! The setup was a bit tricky to get my network to sync up with it but once it was remedied it works like a charm. My four cats took to it right away. The app really makes it easy to monitor who is using it. I don’t stress anymore about the litter box chore. I recommend to anyone who has cats they need this in their life! I am going on vacation soon so not having to have some clean the litter box is a game changer.

Lutter robot is great! My two cats are slowly adjusting, one has been using it religiously and the other is still getting used to it but its so easy to clean and swap bags! No more smell either!

This replaced another brand automatic litter box. This one is easier to fill, clean, empty the waste bin, etc. Just all around better! The only thing I don't like about it is my cats are always stopping the empty cycle because they're curious (leaves the waste bin open for smells to escape). Hopefully they'll grow out of that!

I’ve had the litter robot for a few months now and I must say it has been the best litter box I’ve ever had. I was very hesitant to spend the money on this but finally did it and it has been worth it. We have 3 cats and were scooping the litter every day but it just wasn’t enough to keep up with the poop machines that live here which would result in them eventually pooping on the floor in front the litter box. Can’t say I blame them as I wouldn’t use a nasty toilet either. Since getting the litter robot we have had no issues of poop on the floor and zero litter box smell! Would highly recommend!
