This pricey - absolutely - but it has made such a difference in my home. It saves litter, I can goes days without paying attention to it and my cats are happy, and the app makes using it simple. Worth the investment.

It's fine. I definitely prefer it over scooping a litter box, but I wouldn't say its necessarily worth the money. Only one of my two cats have ever taken to it, with almost a year and a half of owning it, I am a bit disappointed to still have to be using a conventional litterbox alongside it due to my cat's fear of the robot. I wrote that off a bit, because my cat's skittishness can't be the fault of the company. But what I really am not a huge fan of with the machine itself are two things: 1. The sensor for the litter drawer malfunctions frequently. I regularly put a new bag in and within 3 days (nowhere near long enough to be full) it will stop cycling, saying the drawer is full and needs to be emptied. I've taken the thing apart and cleaned the sensor 5-6 times now and it still is having the same issue after a couple weeks of use. 2nd: The liner for the interior of the robot is made of a material that is notttt easy to clean. It feels almost like a suede material, clearly it isnt, but it feels like a waterproof fabric of some kind, and often will have wet litter stick to it in certain areas. Then when the robot cycles, it does not fully come unattached to get sifted through, and a lot of odor sticks around because it is not getting fully cleaned. All in all, the LR *is* a nice addition, and if you have the extra money and it isn't a stretch to afford, sure, get it. But if you are trying to save up money hoping this will be a huge convenience for you and save you a ton of time and effort, I'd recommend getting a cheaper alternative. Just make sure it has the same types of safety features the LR has (biggest one being that the opening is NEVER closed for your cat to be able to jump out if it's cycle doesn't detect them and stop. You want a bin that rotates parallel to the hole, not closing as it turns) I say this because with the amount of maintenance and upkeep and general additional cleaning it requires, it really isn't that much time or effort saved, just lumped all into the troubleshooting sessions you'll have to do every few weeks instead of scooping every day. At first I thought my cats wouldn't like it but after having it for a year I absolutely love it! I don't know how I lived before the litter robot.

We added 2 additional cats from a family member to give us a total of 3. I do not like litter boxes. However, this makes things a lot better. No smell after it clean cycle. Sensors are off a little saying full when it is not. However, not a deal breaker as we still get 5-6 between bag changes. No scooping, change bag and go

Worth every penny! My cats use this atlease 4 times a day and easy to clean

This thing is the best. This machine has saved me so much time in the evenings. Little to no smell ever in the house. I can honestly say it has bettered mine and my wife’s lives. Sounds crazy but it has truly improved our live’s lol

I replaced my litter robot 3 with the 4 and I would never go back. The improvements are worth it! The redesigned globe that spins not the whole robot spinning. It is amazingly quiet. With the large fence I no longer have LOTS of litter on the floor

We have had our Litter Robots approximately 6 months. They have their pros and their cons. A regular litter box isn’t going to stop working because it needs to download an update. It's also not going to scoop for you. Overall, we prefer the quirks that come with our automatic boxes to dealing with traditional litter box issues. They work! We opted for the extended coverage, so we feel confident we'll be covered if anything happens.

I have 5 cats and this Litter robot took care of my daily cleaning. My cats got used to it quickly. No more smells. The app tells me when the trash tray is full. I only need to clean once a week now!

Absolutely amazing, love the fact that I do not have to bend over an scoop litter. It keeps me posted on weight of our cat and even can change settings for how long to clean after the cat uses the bathroom. We love it. Again love the fact that I do not have to bend over to scoop!

Overall works as advertised. Quality and fit of plastic is not up to the standard i would expect from an item at this price point. Cat is spooked by the cleaning cycle but uses it when it is off. Even manually running it once a day is fine. Lots of litter ends up on the floor, it would be nice if they designed a labyrinth for her to walk through to mitigate stray litter rocks. Absolutely no odor that i notice with the robot being in the living room. Pricey but useful

This was the best purchase ever for my kitten! I am a first time cat owner and the Litter Robot 4 has made my life as a cat mom great!

Works well except difficult to keep online. Should have purchased years ago, i have multiple cats! Decreases the need to clean liter several times each day

This thing is absolutely amazing! My only regret was that it took me a year to decide to make the purchase. I have damage to in both of my arms due to an accident that make cleaning out a litter box difficult. This robot does all the work for me! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

This cat litter has changed my household. There is no smell coming from the litter that my 4 cats use and the clean up couldn't be easier. The app helps keep me updated on the status of the litter and my cats have no issue using the robot. One of my best purchases in recent times.

My cats immediately started using this litter robot with me being able to take their old one away in 2 days. Its easy to use and easy to clean. Def an investment thats worth it. One kitty still hisses at it when it moves but she doesnt understand much :)
