Customer service claimed “litter was too heavy” to take some out. That didn’t work and I kept getting “interrupted cycle” and “dirty sensor” errors. When I asked what was considered “too heavy” litter and which was good for it. They said they can only recommend their brand. Smh. Anyway returned the bad unit and so far so good on the replacement.

I was hoping it would fix itself with firmware updates but it didn’t. Besides this the machine works as intended. Be aware that it is not airtight and I had an issue with fruit flies getting in the machine and having babies.

I dont know if its worth $600 just to havr to deep clean it once a week and that takes 2-3 hours.

Does what it should, but not very well

It keeps litter fresh yes, but sometimes waste gets stuck on the drum and you got nasty stuff covering the inside which you have to clean. One of my cats played with the waste while it would do a cleaning cycle, and since it stops when a cat gets passed the motion sensor, my youngest cat played with the waste. My youngest also would jump out of the litter robot instead of walking out which got litter everywhere. It does do what it says it does and very well at that. It’s just not for us, worth the money you spend vs wage experience we got. We have 3 cats and it’s easier using a regular litter box in all honesty.
