I thought this was so gimmicky and was apprehensive about spending so much money before I finally pulled the trigger and just did it. Best thing I have ever purchased and money well spent - it has been a life changer! We have 4 indoor cats and we were constantly cleaning 2 XL size litter boxes and dealing with the cats tracking litter on the floor. I did purchase the additional shield for the front, which is added protection against litter tracking. It also saves so much litter! I would go through at least two 28 lb boxes a week. Now I don't even go thru 1 box. I empty the drawer 1-2 times per week and just top off the litter as needed. If you are on the fence and thinking about one of these, just do it - it's an absolute sanity saver.

If you are looking for a robot that can do the job for a multiple cat house hold with easy maintenance look no further. If you like the Litter Robot 3 you will be impressed with the 4. It is also very quiet. In a normal volume household you would struggle to hear it.

I have had mine since December of 2024. Let me put it this way, if it broke right now, I would drop everything and go get another one at Best Buy. ASAP. The litter hopper can be finicky, but the robot has generally operated flawlessly for me, with minimal effort. FYI - I have 3 cats, and this single robot handles all the business.

Love my litter robot, this is my second one I’ve bought. Although a little pricey they are worth every penny. No scooping, no smell you use way less litter. I love that this new model it lets me know how full it is. Cat owners will never regret purchasing one. Best litter I’ve found to use in the robot is arm and hammer slide.

Great product - However adjustment to get cat used to it has taken longer than I thought. My mistake, the cat saw it moving too early in the process.

I’ve had the Litter Robot for 2 years now. Overall, it’s been worth the investment, especially with two cats. It has its quirks, so you should know a few things. (these are not complaints, but good to know.) If you ever have the power or your internet go out, you will need to reset it. Resetting it usually fixes most issues. Getting it connected to the app initially was a slight pain, but fine afterwards. Don’t overload it with litter because it’ll give you a “tilt fault” issue. It won’t cycle when it’s full, so make sure you empty the tray when you get the notification. The lining is pretty durable, but if your cats are determined with their claws to bury their business - it will scratch. I use kitchen garbage bags instead of paying for the branded liners. They work fine, but make sure there’s not a lot of air trapped to confuse the sensors into thinking the tray is full. I’ve used multiple kinds of litter successfully in it. TLDR- I would buy it again - worth it, despite its quirks.

I still can't believe I bought one. Yes it is awesome. Yes my cats use it. No the room does not stink anymore. It solves so many problems that we cat owners put up with in the dirty kitty department. Honestly If I could yrain my cats to use the toliet I would have so this is the next best thing. Hate having to pay so much for a cat toliet but so far after months of use its still works like day one. Notifications are interesting also. Now I know more about my cats habits ect...

Litter Robot 4 Success It's been 1 month now since I purchased the litter robot 4 for my 2.75-year-old cat who weighs 8.5lbs. Due to space constraints I had to change the location of her litter box, so naturally I was hesitant if it would work. Taking the suggested steps to acclimate her to the litter robot I placed her old litter box right next to the LR4, and at first she chose to use the LR4, but was very skittish of the clean cycle and actually swatting the litter robot while it was cycling. At this point I was a little bit more hesitant if she would calm down during the clean cycle but was willing to stick with it. I began sitting with her during the clean cycle and giving treats and talking in a calm manner to her while it would cycle. On the 3rd day she began to use both litter boxes, and I think she may have been confused as to which one to use. For the next 4 days I kept the old box near the LR4, and continued with treats, praise, and calm talking during the clean cycle. On day 7 I removed the old litter box and she uses the LR4 exclusively now with no issues. Now being 1.5 weeks in I think she actually looks forward to the clean cycle because it means treat time after its done. I'm glad this all worked out well and am confident the LR4 will be in use for years to come so I ordered the Hopper, and the gray litter mat to match her coat color. Thanks, whisker, for engineering a great product that may not work for every cat, but when it does it improves the lives, and health for both the cat parent, and the cat!!!

This is a significant upgrade from the Litter Robot 3. It is much quieter, smaller, and more appealing to the eyes. My last one last over 6 years before I upgraded to this one. It is definitely worth the price!

This is my second litter robot and I love it. It is easy to manage, clean and empty. It is very quiet when it cycles that you forget that it is even there.

No mess, no odor! My elderly cat was going so often, the litter turned to a greasy block in one corner of his box each day. Then he would step through it on his way out and track footprints down the hall. I will NEVER go back to an ordinary litter box again. The best money I’ve spent to a long time. Don’t hesitate. You won’t be sorry. PS He’s been using it for a month and no problems. Just read the directions.

The litter robot is the best thing ever invented for cats. We have 2 cats and one cat will use it no problem but the other cat is a scared of the robot litter box. I always know when my cat uses it. It really helps control the smell and all you need to do is replace the litter bags. No touching

So far this has been a major upgrade from our last auto litter box. I have no complaints and am very pleased. We have saved so much litter using this litter robot. I honestly think it will pay for itself if it lasts a few years.

I love this thing! It’s easy to set up and easy to use. Took the cats a day to get used to it but after that no problem. Great for two cats. I love how it lets me know when the litter needs to be changed and when little needs to be added. Plus if there is a problem it walks you through how to fix it.

Overall, this machine is great and works perfectly. I generally have to take the bag out once per week with two cats. So far there have been zero issues, no bad smells and very easy to maintain. It is expensive but extremely well made, simple to set up - took less than 2 minutes to get up and running. Love the phone notifications everything it is cleaned. Highly recommend if you can afford it. Makes caring for 2 cats a lot easier!

The best model yet of the LiterRobot! Super quiet, entry is larger which makes it easier to pour liter in, and it’s not as bulky as the other models. Also the liter bin holds a lot more!!!

I bought this automatic litter box more that a year ago, and I couldn’t be happier. My cat uses it comfortably, which was a concern at first, but she adapted without any issues. For me, with very little time to spare, it has been the perfect solution. It’s super convenient and keeps the area clean effortlessly. Not only does it save time, but it also greatly reduces odors, which is a huge plus. I highly recommend it, especially for people with busy schedules or anyone looking for a practical and efficient way to care for their cats.

Love the Litter Robot 4. I have been a user of the 3 and it supersedes it by a long way. Very easy to use and set up no more scooping litter boxes and connects to app which gives all the much needed information on amount of litter, how full it is and even weight of cat
