Amazing. We have purchased multiple portable units over the years and none have done as great of a job as this one has.

I bought this as an open box item. I ask if there was a warranty and was told that there was a 1 year manufacture's warranty. When I contacted the manufacturer for missing parts they told me that there is no warranty at all for open box items. The unit seems to work but with no warranty at all it feels like I paid too much, just normal sales price.

Blows very cold air, kept a 300 sq ft room with 20ft high vaulted ceiling cold during mid-summer Texas heat.

Great portable air conditioner and heat pump. Use the air conditioner to keep my bedroom cooler at night. We have used the heat some to warm the upstairs where we all sleep l, without heating the entire house.

Easy hookup to the window, just snaps into place with 4 tabs. Set it up to connect with my iphone and I can turn it on and control it from anywhere in the house as long as I'm connected to the home wifi. Blows very cold A/C, enough to cool 2 rooms. I checked the drain after having it for a couple of months and nothing drained out, so it's great not to have to have a drain hooked up or worry about it building up. It does have a code if the reservoir for some reason would fill up. Haven't tried the heat setting, but have used the fan. It's good to run the fan for a while after using the A/C to avoid any musty/moldy buildup (you should in your car also). Using the inverter technology it doesn't draw much current so it is good on the utility bill. Great unit. Very pleased with it.

Stopped working after 20 days with a refrigerant leak. Best Buy offers an incredibly small 15 day return window and will do absolutely nothing to help - they won't even let you upgrade to Totaltech Membership later. Incredibly frustrating experience with this vendor and this product. I will get my money back and purchase a different product from a customer oriented brand. Aside from the total failure, I would also point out that the unit is very loud, and at it's best provided very little cooling. It's unwieldy and cheaply constructed. The window bracket does not fit most windows. One more thing - there are many other brands selling this exact model of AC. You can look for them

Easy to install, fast cooling in my living room and my family enjoy to have portable while waiting our central unit repair.

I bought this "open box - excellent" and it came with multiple broken and missing pieces. Customer service is refusing to do anything.

It does it job, but the heater option doesnt work.

I don't normally review products but I had to warn others about this piece of garbage. It is as loud as a freight train, is one of the crappiest performing air conditioners, and has a remote that is comically poorly designed. Past the return period so I am stuck with it unfortunately. Shame on you Best Buy for selling this garbage! So many great products then there is this dumpster fire of an appliance!

Parts missing and broken. Returned it. Foud the same unit under a different brand name at HD for $250 less with all the parts and much better instructions (including a video).

We never even had a chance to use it. It came in f=the box with broken parts. Our only option was to return it. I should have heeded the warning from many reviews about the quality of the product from the manufacturer.

You definitely get what you pay for with this unit. Easy installation, very quiet and cools and heats 600 sq ft fast! WiFi feature allows easy operation from anywhere. Cool, heat, fan and dry modes can be set independently or on auto to heat or cool depending on temperature. Fan can be set multi speeds or auto as well. Also like the air flow option that allows multi directional options including up and down. I purchased this after returning a different brand that was less expensive but was so loud I couldn’t sleep with it running.

After thinking I needed a unit like this and Best Buy having it on sale for $115.00 off I ordered it. After reading the information from Whynter on the product I realized it wouldn't meet my needs for cold weather so I returned it unopened. Don't be ME and not read the spec's just because it's on sale. I'm SURE it's a fine unit for the proper application.

installing new unit with heat......included is a double hose cover which was added to stop it dripping in heat mode. No instructions and phone help didn't what it was...after figuring out what it was for it will not fit....too tight and tears....very cheap material....waiting for answer or will return tomorrow. the hose cover is poor junk...wasted 3 hours
