The installation guy was fine. Behind-the-scenes people were terrible. I had given my cell number several times, making sure it was the number to be used. No one showed up for my appointment, and when I called, I was told I'd been called several times and hadn't answered. It turned out they had called my landline which I didn't hear, and it doesn't take messages. Then I was expected to wait a few days to reschedule for something that wasn't my fault.

I was waiting for the best buy service provider or service partner to install my security cameras at desired appointment date and they haven't showed up or given any communication on their arrival at the arrival window which they provided through text. We have waited all the day for service partner to install the cameras but no one had arrived at my residence. Next day spoke to the Geek squad customer service representative to check why the appointment is missed and they dont have specific reason and they suggested for reschedule of appointment to next following week which I am supposed to travel out of town, now I had to move my plans to get my cameras installed at my home. If they are not able to make the appointment date or time as scheduled, then I would suggest the best buy service partners to properly communicate with the users who are expected to get their gadgets to be installed at an expected appointment date.

The technician was running late but called ahead to let me know. His service made up for this as he went above and beyond to provide good service.

The agents were so professional and knowledgeable and kind but unfortunately they couldn’t install the cameras because I don’t have any plugs to connect them. So I have to call an electrician first. Sadly they weren’t able to install them

Professional installation, the tech that was at my house was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, he cleaned up after he was done with the service.

It was quick and efficient. The person knew what he was doing and gave the best opinion on where and how to install the cameras. Would really him to any client.

Some takeaways from my installation of a Nest Cam IQ Outdoor camera: 1) For my install, Best Buy outsourced to a 3rd party company so there’s a chance you may not see a Geek Squad van pull up. 2) Make sure you have a plan for where you want the camera and are confident about that spot, especially if there is going to be drilling through your wall. I’m mostly happy with where I had the camera installed but now I wish I had it placed a little higher. It’s something I could fix myself but wouldn’t be an issue had I considered the camera placement a bit more prior to install. 3) Given a hole is being drilled into your wall, there may be some aesthetic issues to address post-install. In my case, the installation tech had to drill a slightly larger hole than expected to get the power cord through. In addition, the 25 foot cord was routed down along the 7 and some change foot door frame with clips drilled into the wall to hold it in place. This left a good amount of cord which is neatly spooled with zip ties and held in place under the outlet with another clip that was drilled into the wall. I’ve determined some aesthetic fixes to make the look more pleasing but this is another area where you should make sure you have a solid plan in place prior to install. All in all, I’m fairly happy with the installation but I’d probably make some different choices if I had to do it all over again.

he was very a very nice guy I felt comfortable with him in my house. He was on time actually early, he was very knowledgeable of what he was doing, he knew what tools he needed brought them with him put up 3 camera's hooked them up, showed me briefly how to work them, was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Pleasant understanding, efficiency and tall, didn't even need a ladder. lol I have questions on the cameras now cause I had to get a new router and the cameras are not working Id love to call him for advice but I'm sure that's not part of his job.

I cannot speak highly enough about the installers. So quick and knowledgeable. On time. Not a trace of packaging left behind. Explained everything.

The guy who came and installed my cameras was a third party. I had Google Nest Cam IQs installed. They have to be plugged in, so I had the cord run into the attic instead of the wall. The plug was too short and the guy that installed the cameras made a run to Home Depot to grab an extension cord. He wanted to make sure they were working properly and were positioned correctly. I really appreciate that he went out of his way.

Had our ring cameras mounted on the outside of our house and they did a wonderful job. All 4 cameras are working great. Feel safer with them there.

Extremely please with Alvaro’s work on the install! He didn’t need any direction and installed the cameras perfectly! I prefer using Al to do all of my installs now. He was so patient and self sufficient! He took his time and angled the cameras and solars perfectly! He also had a great attitude! I throughly enjoyed working with him and will request him for my future mounts!

The Geek Squad came and located the best places for cameras. they installed and made sure they were working properly. the whole setup was configured on the APP and explained in plain language.
