    Very upset about my installation because I told the lady I needed someone to ckeck my spotlight camera because it wasn’t working and she sent someone who couldn’t work onit and then when I called she said I have to pay again this is ridiculous

    We had to wait a couple weeks for installation. Then the camera began to malfunction (Error-Battery Door Open) almost immediately. Agent came back out and said there was nothing he could do.

    Josh was great but let helper install front camera and was not trained enough, ended up scratching face plate on house as screw slipped and went across facia. Other work that josh did was good.

    All the tech could say is buy new ones??? Did need to pay $220 to hear that especially since he only touch 1 of the 5 cameras Not a great deal at all

    Third party installers are not good with installation. they didn't had proper tools for this install and not clear where to place cameras. They do not have idea/knowledge on why video door bell was not working after install.

    Had two cameras to install and only installed one. Had set time out of my day for the installation and it was half done (only one camera installed). Called customer service for the installation of the other camera only to be told that I would have to set another appointment for a different day for the second camera installation. Honestly felt scammed out of my money. Had to install it myself. Will never again use geek squad!!!

    The Geek Squad Technician was scheduled to be at my home between 8a-12p EST and came 3.5 hours late! After repeatedly calling customer service he arrived but claims his GPS wasn’t working. What makes things worst he didn’t have any (tools, business cards or ID) on hand and claims he couldn’t do the install because I had 2 Ring Spotlight Cams (which I paid for & requested to be installed while scheduling the in store appt. NOW I’m waiting on to speak with a qualified Geek Squad CSR rep to answer my call - let’s just say this is my 3rd attempt to reach that agent! Anyone interested in purchasing their installation service - DON’T! Buyer be aware “First and last time for me!”

    The agents didnt even arrive they said they came to place knocked on the door and left after 15 minutes they had my phone number but did not try to call. the guy said he did but he lied i received no phone call ever at the time he claims he called. Its ok i understand he lives far away from the bay area and wants to finish his day early (1pm) to drive to his middle of no where home i used to work in this field so i know how it is. Its ok i was refunded every dollar

    Don't use Best Buy or Geek Squad

    TOTAL DISASTER. Don't use Best Buy or Geek Squad. They use subcontractors who did not come when stated, expect you to hold a 12-hour window until the night before, and then rescheduled 5 times. I am super disappointed. I called the special help line and was disconnected. I ended up returning this item and hiring someone independently to get it done.

    No stars! Not a single one. I told them at checkout the time and date window when someone will "make themselves available" aka "give up their time" and will be waiting for the technicians arrival. The install day comes and we waited all day for the technician to come. Call the technician no answer. Then several hours after the window the technician wants to call me and tell me he's on his way? Uh uh. I scheduled an appointment for a reason. To not waste people time. And they ended up wasting mine

    This item is still NOT installed after numerous scheduled appointments, they do NOT show up to complete the work, they do not call when they are running late. I had to call 2 times this time as followup (1 hour and a 1/2 h old times) to talk to a call center that cant speak english, transfers you to another hold, cannot resolve issues. AFter all this,I still did not get service, and no NEw appointment set (doubtful after 4-5 already scheduled appointments not showing to do the job) This Service I purchased at a heavy cost that is supposed to make you priority , does not deliver what they claim they will do.

    During an initial appointment set the agent was unable to install the cameras, an appointment had to be rescheduled to have someone that knew what they were doing go out for the install. The second agent never showed up to the appointment and marked the service as complete. The third time around trying to schedule another appointment has been impossible. I have called to have the third appointment scheduled and it has yet to be scheduled by the agent I speak to.

    Horrible! I have tried to get my items installed since November 2022, and it is January 2023. The third part with Best Buy constantly reschedule to dates I didn’t ask for and they do it after I have scheduled with Best Buy TotalTech program! I feel like I am in 3 ring circus without the tents. Note I was scheduled to get the security cameras and door bells install and they were a NO SHOW! If I could give the third party a -star I would. Giving them and Best Buy a one is going against my principles.
