Terrible Service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.During an initial appointment set the agent was unable to install the cameras, an appointment had to be rescheduled to have someone that knew what they were doing go out for the install. The second agent never showed up to the appointment and marked the service as complete. The third time around trying to schedule another appointment has been impossible. I have called to have the third appointment scheduled and it has yet to be scheduled by the agent I speak to.

DISAPPOINTED WITH GEEK SQUAD

On each occasion I've waited all day for the Best But/Geek Squad, and it was a no-show. I didn't even receive a phone call. When I call Best Buy, the representative promises that someone will call to resolve my issue, but no one ever calls me back. I call back, wait over 30 minutes on hold, and I'm told that the only thing they can do is re-schedule my order (Order #1121344540585). Each time that I reschedule the whole "no-show" process repeats itself. I have no confidence in Best Buy's customer service.

Waste of time

Its ok i understand he lives far away from the bay area and wants to finish his day early (1pm) to drive to his middle of no where home i used to work in this field so i know how it is. Its ok i was refunded every dollar

Geek Squad can’t seem show up when scheduled

I was booked for installation on December 30 you called on 29 to make excuses why you couldn’t but guaranteed you would be there on January 2. Now today, December 31 you call to say you can’t do it then either. And lo and behold your schedule is full for that day. Your employee problems is not my problem. If I told my customers I had “help issues” I would be laughed out of their offices. Poor management is your problem and has been for some time. I have in writing your persons guarantee they be there Saturday, big joke!!! I will take my business to local businesses from now on.....

Don’t waste your money!!!

Had set time out of my day for the installation and it was half done (only one camera installed). Called customer service for the installation of the other camera only to be told that I would have to set another appointment for a different day for the second camera installation. Honestly felt scammed out of my money. Had to install it myself. Will never again use geek squad!!!

Why even make an appointment?

I told them at checkout the time and date window when someone will "make themselves available" aka "give up their time" and will be waiting for the technicians arrival. The install day comes and we waited all day for the technician to come. Call the technician no answer. Then several hours after the window the technician wants to call me and tell me he's on his way? Uh uh. I scheduled an appointment for a reason. To not waste people time. And they ended up wasting mine

No Show on installation of equipment

The third part with Best Buy constantly reschedule to dates I didn’t ask for and they do it after I have scheduled with Best Buy TotalTech program! I feel like I am in 3 ring circus without the tents. Note I was scheduled to get the security cameras and door bells install and they were a NO SHOW! If I could give the third party a -star I would. Giving them and Best Buy a one is going against my principles.

Horrible

I was having problems with setting up the camera for port forwarding. The Customer Service Rep said they could fix the problem. When the tech came out he said he wasn't as familiar with Cox Panaromic Wifi. So he could not fix my problem. I think they just book these appointments, take your money and when they can't handle it - oh well that's a $100 down the hole. I'll rely on local technicians to solve technology issues instead of the Geek Squad from now on.

Poor work ethic, late, unprofessional
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The visit window was 7am-12pm, I didn’t get a confirmation call The day before as stated, a person called me at 1 PM and told me they will be there at 1:30 Max, then at 1:50 I called him and they said they’re still on the way and he gave me the wrong address, so I gave him the right address and he said he is still 35-45 minutes away. At that point I told him to forget it since I have other things to do and I took the day off for this. Very disappointing since I used Best Buy installation services before and they were great.

Internet speed for cameras
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Make sure you have the correct Internet speed before you purchase these cameras because you will not be able to return them after 14 days. I had to reschedule and Geek Squad had told me that it would never expire, but what they did not explain is, if you can't get the Internet speed after the second or third, even reschedule that you still will not be able to return the cameras. After having a baby and being out of commission for nine months, I the manager would not assist due to my situation.

Wasn't the best experience
