No Show on installation of equipment

The third part with Best Buy constantly reschedule to dates I didn’t ask for and they do it after I have scheduled with Best Buy TotalTech program! I feel like I am in 3 ring circus without the tents. Note I was scheduled to get the security cameras and door bells install and they were a NO SHOW! If I could give the third party a -star I would. Giving them and Best Buy a one is going against my principles.

No Show
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I requested Geek Squad service to connect the Lorex Camera system we purchased back before Christmas 2021, We waited almost a month for the day the technician was to arrive to perform the work, the morning they were to show up we received a call stating they had to cancel, I had to reschedule then waiting again for almost a month, 2 days before the are due to come I receive a call stating they cannot come & reschedule a future date making us wait another 17 days. I have my doughts they will even show up, it will be another BS excuse as why not to come. One star rating is to much, service is super poor!!!

DISAPPOINTED WITH GEEK SQUAD

On each occasion I've waited all day for the Best But/Geek Squad, and it was a no-show. I didn't even receive a phone call. When I call Best Buy, the representative promises that someone will call to resolve my issue, but no one ever calls me back. I call back, wait over 30 minutes on hold, and I'm told that the only thing they can do is re-schedule my order (Order #1121344540585). Each time that I reschedule the whole "no-show" process repeats itself. I have no confidence in Best Buy's customer service.

Simply Safe system

Internet speed for cameras

I had to reschedule and Geek Squad had told me that it would never expire, but what they did not explain is, if you can't get the Internet speed after the second or third, even reschedule that you still will not be able to return the cameras. After having a baby and being out of commission for nine months, I the manager would not assist due to my situation.

Geek Squad installer lied to me

The Geek Squad installer stated I the cameras, that they placed on my indoor windowsill, would enable me to see my parked car at night. This was my only reason for purchasing the cameras and having them installed.

Poor work ethic, late, unprofessional
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The visit window was 7am-12pm, I didn’t get a confirmation call The day before as stated, a person called me at 1 PM and told me they will be there at 1:30 Max, then at 1:50 I called him and they said they’re still on the way and he gave me the wrong address, so I gave him the right address and he said he is still 35-45 minutes away. At that point I told him to forget it since I have other things to do and I took the day off for this. Very disappointing since I used Best Buy installation services before and they were great.

Wrong camera installed

I was told by the very rude woman at gs support out of Kentucky I had to remove the camera and return it. I did just that and installed the correct camera myself. After some phone calls it was determined that the camera was miss marked at the store that is how the gs tech ended up with the wrong camera to begin with. In the end I ordered the correct camera gs brought and installed the wrong camera I spoke with an extremely rude customer support rep removed camera returned to the fort Myers store location for the correct camera and installed myself. I feel I am entitled a refund for the install as I ended up removing returning and installing the new camera. Thank you

Generally speaking, if a service such as installation is completed, typically refund of that service wouldn’t be an option. Installation of Solar Panel

As of today, my camera is still showing 1% charge. Geek Squad needs to rerun to my home and remove and install in a location that will get sun.

Geek Squad can’t seem show up when scheduled

I was booked for installation on December 30 you called on 29 to make excuses why you couldn’t but guaranteed you would be there on January 2. Now today, December 31 you call to say you can’t do it then either. And lo and behold your schedule is full for that day. Your employee problems is not my problem. If I told my customers I had “help issues” I would be laughed out of their offices. Poor management is your problem and has been for some time. I have in writing your persons guarantee they be there Saturday, big joke!!! I will take my business to local businesses from now on.....

Still not completed

The replacement camera has a different connector for solar panel. The tech needed an adapter to be able to connect the solar panel, and did not have one, so did not bother, and the camera install is still incomplete.

Majorly peeved

I had geek squad come out, they couldn't fix it. they had subcontractor come out they couldn't fix it. they recommended new cameras. i have expedited my request. I can not get one person in your entire organization to help me. NO ONE GETS BACK TO ME. MY CAMERAS ARE UNDER TOTAL TECH WARRANTY. I plan to go into the store tomorrow. Better be someone there that can help me. This is an atrocity.

Horrible

I was having problems with setting up the camera for port forwarding. The Customer Service Rep said they could fix the problem. When the tech came out he said he wasn't as familiar with Cox Panaromic Wifi. So he could not fix my problem. I think they just book these appointments, take your money and when they can't handle it - oh well that's a $100 down the hole. I'll rely on local technicians to solve technology issues instead of the Geek Squad from now on.
