    Worst installation experience I've ever had

    Terrible experience, if I could give negative stars I would do that. I needed a camera installed and the technician broke the camera and told me they would pay for it. I spent hours on the phone trying to get refunded, they "escalated" my case about six times and each time it was mysteriously canceled somehow. I still have not received reimbursement for the broken camera and no one from Best Buy ever contacted me as promised. Last time I am using Best Buy for anything. I am going to tell everyone I know about this place. Terrible experience all around.

    The installers picked up the wrong item 4 times and installed the incorrect item. It took 10 hours worth of phone calls to finally reach the store directly to correct the problem. The installers were nice but the comunication to Best Buy was horrendous to say the leastbn

    Didn’t show for the appointment. I Wasted a whole day. Then they gave me another appointment 4 weeks out. Likely to just cancel it.

    They do not do the wiring for Floodlight camera

    I purchase with the help of their chat agent. I ask multiple times in the chat if wiring is included in the installation and they confirm yes so I purchase a floodlight camera. The technician came and told me they do not do the wiring they will just mount it. Now I have a floodlight camera sitting here and need travel to return it! Well played sales team

    Terrible service and customer service!!! I waited all day for them as they never contacted to gice time frame and sonI called only to be told that it was canceled due to no available employee. A reputable company would have sent me an email notifying me that my appointment was canceled

    I took a day off of work so I could wait in the four hour period. Was told he only had 1 hour to do the work and he'd need at least 2.5 hours to do it, which would cost me over double the cost that is listed here. So he was going to reschedule for another day only to tell me that his boss wouldn't let him do the drilling that was needed to complete the job. I have no idea what the point of this service is if they CAN"T INSTALL THE CAMERAS!

    My neighbor had these installed and has two of them pointed at my bedroom windows. Bad neighbor! Geek squad is liable. My neighbor likes to watch my every move. His wife will get tired of him staring at his phone looking for nude images of me.

    2 Installers showed up three hours late and we’re in a hurry to leave . They Installed one camera that’s did not have a connection and left telling me that I needed to get technical support to get it fixed . I had instructed them not to install a camera that did not have a Wi-Fi connection they did so anyway and refused to Reposition the camera.

    Trouble with Security Cameras

    Not the Squads problem but in setting up the service by talking to an agent, I was charged for the cameras but they never told the guys to bring them. I had to talk to Best buy to get a rebate on the charge. Still don’t have any idea how or when to get the security cameras installed.

    Instead of calling prior to the appointment, they waited until 30 minutes prior to the end of the 4 hour window to cancel. Still waiting on the manager to call me. It's been at least a month and ive heard nothing.

    Stay away from Geek Squad install - Unprofessional

    I placed an order Nov 26th 2021 - Delivery and Install was setup for Dec 23rd 2021. The arrival window was between 7am - 1pm. Guess what? the technician is no show. I called BestBuy and they're unable to provide an ETA except submit an escalation ticket.

    It wasn't an install you sent the wrong guy. But he helped us a lot. We wanted to hook up the camera to the NEW tv. But he couldn't finish.he fixed a lot of things that the first guy messed up
