Love the Wii U

The one complaint I have about the unit is the fact that right out of the box, the system requires a software update. Seems a little strange that a brand new device would require an update prior to using it the first time. This happened for both Mario Kart 8 and for Mario 3D Land. Its difficult to tell kids they have to continue to wait to play with something after they have already spent their paticience on waiting for me to hook up the device initially. Other than that, they appear to be enjoying the system thus far.
