Great Games, Poor Idea
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Nintendo Wii-U is a great system and I'm glad bought it over the PS4 and Xbox One. I figure I have a PC, I can play most mainstream titles on that, I can only play Nintendo titles on the Wii-U. It would be nice if the system supported Dolby, but it's hard to find a perfect setup these days without having to upgrade most of your entertainment center. The main thing I don't like about the system is the Gamepad. Most games don't use it. If they do, it's usually in an unnecessary way. You also need it to control the main Wii-U menu, which I don't like. The graphics on the Gamepad are really a downgrade. For 2 player games where the second player has to play on the Gamepad screen, it's less than ideal. I also don't like having to switch between the Wii U and Wii operating systems for Wii games, but at least it's backwards compatible! Invest in the Pro Controller, it's great :)
