The Wii U is my favorite system this console generation mainly because of the local co-op abilities. The game pad is great to use when playing single player since the TV is free for anyone else to use.

Super fun, amazing, great multiplayer games, simply the best console there is right now, and with all the great games is a no brainer if you've ever played Nintendo games and are looking to start again

why does someone go back to old games like Mario or Zelda on the Nintendo system, it's because classics rock! And to keep the experience aligned The Wii U does a great job bringing the past to the future but not all the way. They have the Wii U control pad which can work as an independent console when the TV isn't available and combine with multiple Wiimotes and have a blast! The only thing people keep expecting is top notch graphics from a 21st century console but that would not make Nintendo unique for the old titles and experience Nintendo brings to its gamers. If you overcome that need and understand that the game's experience is as authentic as ever, you will fall in love with this console!

I think the adults will love this more than the kids. The game pad is an awesome feature and allows for to play the games and have the tv going at the same time. Truly an upgrade from the regular wii.

Pros: -unending fun -love the new remote. Controls everything, and by everything I even mean our TV - I just love love love everything bout it - I feel the console never gets warm to the touch. If so, keep in a well ventilated area Cons: -main controller dies at a quicker rate than that of the wii u pro controller. -Although it is business, Nintendo overpriced their "Nintendo" branded items. So do some research and you could get a couple of pro remotes for the price of one you can't go wrong with these wii u where most off he games are done right and if not, even better. We both love Mario kart 8. That's one of the best gems that couples can play non stop and want to keep going for.

I love my new wii. My only complaint is that sometime my Netflix and Hulu stops working. I believe it is more of a problem with my Internet connection than it is with the wii..the battery life for the 3D screen could be a little longer, and it would be neat to have the ability to do 2 things at once, but for the most part, the wii does what it was designed to do.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The console comes with two games and I purchased smash bros as well. I have had fun for months now and I am still not done with Mario or smash! Great value!

The upgrade from the Wii is great. It's helpful that it is also backwards compatible and has the ability to transfer all of the memory from the Wii to the WiiU. The pre-installed games are fun too

I am liking the WiiU. It was a choice between this or the regular Wii. I am glad we got the WiiU. Small, easy to use and set up. User friendly.

The console has a lot of games that is suitable for everyone. We have an old Wii and all of the games and accessories also works with it so we did not need to repurchase all the controllers again.

I purchased this as a gift for my fiancé in December. He loves it. The bundle is a great deal for the amount I paid. Everything shipped quickly and as described, and arrived in perfect condition.

Bought this system for our son to play online with his friends and was surprized by how ridiculously great the graphics and sound are. Great selection of family games are available for the WiiU

The Wii U is a continuation of the great Nintendo franchise. Its HD graphics bring it up to speed with the rest of the consoles, although the expected focus on more cartoon-y style games like Mario is still there. This bundle includes Super Mario 3D World, which is by far the best Mario game I have ever played. I'm 32. My son is 5. We both enjoy it the same.

This was by far my best purchase this year. Wii U is an all around excellent and fun to play system. Easy learning curve. Super Mario 3D World is also currently my favorite game for the system.

The Nintendo Wii-U is an awesome system for young and old alike. First party support is top notch as usual but third party interest needs to pick up for those who arent dedicated nintendo fans.

Nintendo Land and Super Mario 3D World are great games to play with my girlfriend and friends who visit! Good package deal, and super bonus that it works with my old original Wii controllers!

Great looking console and controller. Very clear on my tv easy to hook up I have a play station 3 but this is much better, all our old Wii games work great on it including the Wii controllers.

My son loves it and thinks it is an improvement over his WII in terms of graphics and game quality. He is quite happy with the purchase and my daughter plays more with him on this console.

Bought the WiiU after my PS3 burnt out. Assembly was very easy, although initial setup took a while (however, I don't have a PS4 or XboxOne, so I don't know if setup time like this is normal with new consoles). Plays well. The WiiU controller with the screen is a fun, unique addition to gaming, especially with NintendoLand. Old retro-console games for purchase has a very small selection, but it took the original Wii a while to boost their titles, too, so it is ok for now. The ability to buy new titles to be downloaded online is also nice because I don't have to drive 20-30 minutes just to buy a videogame. All-in-all, I think we made a great choice to purchase this console.
