The Wii U is a welcome update to the Wii with the addition of the hand held controller that has a screen built in so that you can navigate menus and even play games in lieu of using the tv.

I was doing my research, to buy a entertaining system for my 5 year old . Nintendo WII U defently is the console ,many rated Games for kids and u can program tablet not to play rated M games.

I bought the wii for my 4 year old son he fell in love with it instantly as soon as he get the house the first thing he wants to do is play his new wii u (after doing his homework of course)

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my kids! Not only do they love playing it but it's fun for the whole family. I only wish I could purchase another big remote like the one it comes with!

Our kids were thrilled with this video game console. They like the pad a lot. We already had an old wii console, but this one is definitely better. The games are very food entertainment.

I've owned several consoles, but this is the only one that is great for the entire family. Many of the games are built for local play, so many people can play on the screen at the same time.

My 6 and 4 year old have so far enjoyed the Wii U because they love Mario right now. We haven't fully explored all the options that the Wii U has but so far it's been a real hit around here.

This is a great system for anyone looking for a new console. Most games can be played on the game pad while the tv is in use by someone else so there is no arguing over who can use the tv.

Awesome game system! Great for kids and teens or adults. The price that Best Buy sells it for is cheaper than anywhere else. Plus, you get added games with the purchase of the system.

My son 6 years old, loves Mario's games and we played together every saturday. It's so amazing how Nintendo still have consoles that is for this generation. I recommend Wii U for all ages!

We have enjoyed the wii u very much. It is awesome because you can still play all the older wii games plus all the new ones!! There is only minor issues that are not worth mentioning.

Recently felt like I needed to upgrade from the Wii. I liked how I ca still use all the games and controllers from my old Wii. This WiiU has a lot of great new games. I really like it.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Highly recommend. My 3 year old can play and operate this system. Favorite feature is that you can watch tv while someone it's playing on the game pad.

This is an amazing bundle! Super Mario 3D World is so much fun and absolutely adorable, it's a great game to include with the Wii U. I can't wait until Mario Party comes out on this baby!

you can play with multiple players. it is so much fun to play with friends. you can connect to a game in multiple ways. you can use a controller, a DS, etc. This is great for gatherings.

Great console!! My wife and kids and I love playing it on family game night! I love that I cam change the channel and do something else and my kids can continue to play on the game pad!

Great system. Fun for the whole family. Liked the ability to play original Wii games and great Nintendo exclusives such as Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D world, Donkey Kong, Kirby, etc...

Me and my kids love the new WII U. The games are really fun and diverse. I believe their favorite so far is the super smash brothers as well as donkey kong tropical freeze, among others.

My boyfriend got me this for christmas so I'm still fairly new to it. It has an entirely different interface from PS4 so I'm not used to it yet. It looks like you have to convert to the regular wii interface to use regular wii games which is kind of odd. They made the interface fuzzy/blurry in an attempt to make it "retro" but it really just hurts my eyes. I get off that menu as fast as possible and get right to the game. The gamepad, while novel, can never be turned off without turning off the wii U. But the gamepad is hard to hold and would be nice to be able to turn it off. You don't have to use the gamepad to play but it's always on when the wii U is on.

Pros: Cool and Fun Games. Super Smash, Mario Kart, ect Cons: Worst controller design ever. So useless. The built in Nintendo Land game is a joke. So over complicated and wacked out.
