This console is great for families and also great for those who like to play a little more than casually.

This was the best purchased I made all my year, there is never a dull moment when playing this console

We bought this for our household for the kids and adults. It is really great and we have tons of fun.

I had alot of doubts before purchasing a wii u. But once i started playing it i was hooked. Although, i dislike the fact that the gamepad needs to be charged very often. Besides that nintendo's exclusives are very addicting!

This system is a great improvement from the wii, the free mario game is great, I even enjoy playin it.

Really enjoy the console and being able to play on the Gamepad when I don't want to watch what's on TV.

Nintendo really hit a home run with this one. Updated interface, great games, a cool new gamepad, and some slick new looks. Another pickup that I am glad I made. Good choice of games, including many updated classics that you love. Nintendo did great and I cant wait for what they do here on out.

Bought this for work to relieve stress, a little time consuming to set up out of the box, but once that's done, its good times. I would have liked to get the Wii sports disc, but you really cant go wrong with getting a Mario game for free. The system being backwards compatible with the original Wii games and accessories is a rare change of pace, so it is not that big of a deal that you do not get a Wii-mote or nunchuck, only the gamepad.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old. He loooves it. It's definitely an upgrade from the first Wii. The initial setup and loading of the games is a but lengthy. But once you get past that it's great! Super Mario 3d world is an awesome game. You are supposed to be able to play old wii games on it but we have yet to try. I would def recommend this game to first time game owners (younger children, even older ones and adults!)
