We spent $300 on the Wii and then it went on sale 2 weeks later for $275. Best Buy graciously refunded us the difference. As for the console....I have 3 kids and they love it. We have to limit their time, otherwise they would be playing all day. While they enjoy the included Mario 3D game, they play the included Nintendo Land game for hours. The unit itself has held up great. We don't have many newer Wii U games, but have a few of the older Wii games, and they all work well. We don't use it to its potential with all of the included Apps and online features. Anyway, I found great value in this product, and I'm not the kind of guy the drop a couple hundreds dollars like it's no big deal. Well worth it.

Internet speed is great and I'm able to play online with very little trouble. Parental control are smooth and intuitive. I really like this system even though I'm only playing two games right now. Monster Hunter, and 90% of the time super smash bros!. I recommend to anyone that doesn't have a lot of time to invest in xbox or ps4 1st person shooters. WII is simple and fun.
