Awesome console to play all the new and old nintendo games that are actually fun to play.

This system is an awesome game console, it just needs to have more available games. The transaction from Best Buy was even more amazing, the price was the best anywhere and the shipping was extremely fast.

My granddaughter and I play for hours. We like it better than the original wii game.

Hours of family fun can be spent playing the wii u. The Mario games are so much fun.

Good value and as always Nintendo has niche that other consoles cannot really fill. My wife is not a big shooter player although she tries, but loves games like Mario, Nintendo Land, and other Wii games. So we use this as our family game night system and party system. This is especially awesome since Nintendo continues to offer 4 player split screen play as the other consoles seem set on phasing it out.

I bought this for Christmas for my 12 year old son. We spend hours together playing. I think the best feature is the game pad. He can continue playing a game when I am done and want to watch football. :)

Nintendo put out a beauty. Its basically a game system with a portable game system inside it( no t.v. needed). Easily navigable menus for my 4 year old to work no problems. It comes with free online game play and updates. It plays all the old wii games witch is awesome! even better you can transfer saved games and high scores.. We have spent a lot of time as a family playing this great system.

The Wii U is an excellent choice for a console with several high quality first party games that work well and are fun, colorful, and relaxing. Several games are great for relaxing or are a different type of feel than the regular Call of Duty or Destiny type games. Also, Nintendo games actually work well, which is more than can be said of many modern games, such as Unity or Master Chief Collection. The only issues with this console are the small (32GB) hard drive, Nintendo being backwards with online functionality across the console and all games, and high price point. This console should really be $200. Regardless, this is a great gift or even a purchase due to the high number of good quality games that are highly enjoyable.

So, I have an XBOX 360 but couldn't find games that were family friendly. So, for Christmas I bought the Wii U and the kids & I were off and playing together in a matter of minutes. I went on a trip from Texas to Florida and just plugged the Wii U in and the kids were able to play it using the game pad. No TV needed. Thank you Nintendo for thinking about the family games. Great value in this package.
