Wii U is great especially the Amibo option of playing with different characters. It engages the players a lot more than previous nintendo systems

I was expecting a little more out of the system, but not sure what. I like Nintendo games because they have platformers you love. But, it should not have cost what it does. 1080P finally And HDMI out But no optical audio out, I had to buy an HDMI splitter with optical to hook up to my older (but excelled receiver) so I could use it with my surround sound. Not sure I like using the big touch screen for a controller. I have several WII controllers so that is ok. I purchased a WII pro controller and find that it does not work with all the games.... :-(

Nintendo has made wonderful improvements to this game system. The game pad is great. And to be able to play all the old wii games too is a home run.

Good bundle overall, could do without Nintendo Land, new Mario game still enjoyable to play after many years in the business of creating games

We've held off for far too long on upgrading our original Wii...the graphics, speed, and new games make the Wii U a welcome addition to our console collection. Grab an extra remote or two and grab a couple extra games...then get family/friends together and make some fond new memories! That's what we've been doing!

I bought this to enjoy some time with my family and We have spent hours and hours playing as a family. I really like the hyrule worriors game!

I waited a little while before I even thought of getting a Wii U. It had a slow start, but man what a great piece of hardware it is. Has a great collection of games now, fun to play with loads of friends. And the future looks great. I am playing it a bit more than my PS4 at the moment....which is fine with me.

With a large family of varying ages , this has proven to be a great single or multi player device. Great graphics and great fun. No glitches !

Bought the game system for my 20 year old son who has always loved the Nintendo game systems. We like that the system is backward compatible, meaning he can play his Wii games on it as well. We have had no issues at all with the system. It was in perfect condition when opened and was very easy to set up.

I didn't know I was going to have that much fun. The games take me back to the way games used to be.

I own a PS4 as well, and I have spent more time playing the Wii U than I have the PS4. There are a tone of fun games to play and they're reasonably priced. Also games on the Wii U tend to stray from falling into the downloadable content trap. When you buy a game at dull price you get the full game.

This system is what the first Wii should've been. I'll always be a Nintendo girl, so I typically get their consoles. Great graphics and the games are classic and always fun. We haven't stopped playing since we got it. Highly recommended.

We have all the gaming units and this unit by far is perfect for small children. Ours is 6 yr so we suggest going into Best Buy and trying out this unit. Great unit for travel or compact while in bed. Unit is playful for both kids and adults. Very different than using all the other console games.

I have wii and when it came to gift my 5 yr old nephew on his birthday, the choice was easy and he was so excited to get it. He played it same day. The downloaded games on the Wii U has pros and cons- less risk of kids breaking the DVD while inserting but less space to download other games from store

This game system was purchased to replace our original Wii system. It's the perfect replacement since now we can play either from the tv screen or the handheld game. We also are delighted that we could still use our old games with the newer handheld device. Overall we're very pleased with it.

Great gaming system! i am surprised on the lack of enthusiasm by the sales people to sell this. they seem stuck on PS4 and XBox. this is a system for people who actually want to interact with other people in your home instead of staring blankly at a tv set. great job nintendo, shame on you best buy.

We held off on getting a Wii for a long time. We finally got one for the kids for Christmas. Glad we waited, because the touch scree controller that came with the Wii U is very nice indeed! The only thing that could possibly make it better would be for the cord to be longer or for it to be wireless.

Purchased this for my daughter. She loves it. Some of the games are multi player, so the whole family may join in, players vary per game.

I bought this for my son. He loves it. We also have a play station 4 and this Wii U is much better and more interactive and geared towards children. I spent my money very well when I decided to buy this thanks to a very helpful best buy employee who told me about it as I was purchasing a laptop.

We had the Wii and it got struck by lightening so we bought the Wii U...kids love it! Came with some games and price wasn't too bad!
