Easy to use and set up. My husband loves playing all the Mario games! He can use it while I watch tv on the little tablet

For starters, this thing blows the old Wii out of the water. The graphics are more PS4/Xbox than the dot matrix looking nonsense from the original Wii. Despite the Best Buy salesman telling us differently, our old remotes from the Wii work perfectly fine with the Wii U. The included games are decent for young kids, though Nintendo Land is the least played game in the house. I do not quite get the purpose of the GamePad, and I'm not in a rush to go buy more. Not a lot of titles at our local Best Buys or GameStop, but the games we've bought so far have been impressive and a lot less challenging to play than the PS4 games.

being a Super Mario fan since I was a child, I always love playing new Mario games and this one is a lot of fun especially with the much clearer graphics. I highly recommend. Next on list is to get the Luigi game.

easy to set up used cable from wii and it hooked right up to tv we don't have a HD tv so we couldn't use the hdmi output.

Great system to play w family. Easy to install, had a wifi but enjoy the Wii U much more, controls seem to work better

Love the Wii U. Was skeptical initially if it's really worth the price (we have the original Wii) But it's quite a significant 'upgrade'. Different play modes, with the touch screen controller is quite cool. Also allows up to 5 people to play which is great for the family.

Should have bought this a long time ago! It's great being able to play and have Simone watching tv.also used it in the car during long trips to keep my wife busy lol

This is a really fun gaming system. The touch interaction with Super Mario 3D World is pretty cool. I love the ability to be able to play the game using only the game pad while someone else can still watch whatever they want on the TV. Overall a wonderful system so far.

Was hesitant to buy the Wii U or any console from the current gen for that matter but it was definitely worth it. The Wii U is unique and tons of fun. The controller is much, much better than it looks and the games look beautiful in HD for the first time on Nintendo.

Love the Wii U however this package says that it comes with the games on hard disks but it does not!!!! It comes with the games downloaded to the hard drive which is only 32GB. I was not happy because the description said hard disk copy and not a digital copy!!!!!

I love this system! I initially bought it to play Smash Bros and Hyrule Warriors, then came Wind Waker HD, Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8, and all the virtual console SNES games I loved playing so many years ago. I play this more than my PS4, and that is saying something.

All of the products i bought, I absolutely love! I've used them every day since i bought them. The salesman was so awesome and helped me with everything i needed and that made it an even better purchase.

Mario Super World 3D is really fun to play on tv or through the game pad.

The Wii U is a very versatile system with many control options and typical Nintendo quality. The game library is not huge, but its mature enough that someone of any age range can find something fun there. Mario and Nintendo land are both excellent family games.

I love my Wii U. Didn't wanna pay the 300 dollars but after my son offered 100 dollars I had no more excuses. I also wanted it for Mario Party 10. Love the ease of downloading games and all of the features and that I can still use all my Wii stuff and games!

I have been a gamer ever since my dad bought me my Sega Genesis back in 1995. Nintendo has gone a long way and the Wii U is a nice system but I should admit that it mainly belongs to first party games. That is what it mainly is for including Mario Kart, Super Smash, Kirby, Donkey Kong. That's all it has as there arent many third party games out there. Great system to have fun here and there but wouldn't go all the way with this unless you love Nintendo.

If you have kids 12 and under- this is by far the best option. Allows up to 8 players on some games, making it much easier to avoid fights over the console.

nintendo just makes gamin fun. while xbox and playstation focuses more on serious gamers, nintendo focuses on the FUN-damentals. games like splatoon makes this an awesome console! and...mario party anyone?!?!?! oh, and...i own two of them. nuff said. =)

My son and I have had a blast playing the Wii U. I can't say anything else other than this system is a lot of fun. It is easy to use and really fun for the whole family. I'm glad we switched over from a different gaming system to this family friendly system.
