I bought this for my 9 year old, LOVES IT... He's had just about every game system made in past 6 years (as he makes straight A's and minds well) so yes, he gets it. This is by far his most favorite. The others will be going to good homes this month.

In most people's blind search of maximum frame rate and highest possible resolution it can be very easy to lose sight of fun. This console is fun and has a very good library of very enjoyable games that remind me of why I got into gaming to begin with.

This is a great console if you are into couch co op games. Neither Xbox One or PS4 have a lot of games to play when you have friends over. Wii U is all about couch co op. Plus you get to play all the great Nintendo games not available on other consoles.

Was able to get it from best buy through ebay for 249.99 instead of 299.99 but there was sales tax and was unable to pickup at store and points do not transfer for reward members. Would like best buy to change there policy on points transferring from online stores through ebay. But system was in great working order, took quite a long time to setup but was well worth the wait. Mario was preinstalled, would have liked actual disc but no biggie.

Bought this for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it especially the wii u sports. The only thing we struggled with was that they don't make chargers for the tablet sold separately so when ours ripped we had a big hassle trying to order a new one!

I was trying to make a decision on which new system I wanted to go for. The WiiU exceeded my expectation. It is nothing like its previous predecessor. I am Impressed and I want to continue playing. I would recommend this system to anyone debating on it.

So far I am really enjoying the console! The gamepad takes a little getting use to but very neat concept.

Create game console! The only "issue" I had was playing the older WII games, it was just kind of challenging to figure how to play them, but once I figured it out, I play the older WII games with no problem. But I'd recommend this console to anyone.

Purchased this as a gift for the whole family. We owned a Wii previously, and over time, everyone got tired of playing. Was hoping with some of the new technology and games, that this system would be the perfect family gift. As it turns out, the games are decent, but I really don't notice a difference from original wii. That being said, it is fun, it is family friendly, but I'm afraid it will also be collecting dust before the warranty runs out.

What can i say. NIntendo has been entertaining me since I was a little one and they are entertaining me now. What a great product. Fun for the whole family, my son and my dad play all the time. HD graphics, classic characters, new awesome! Must buy!

This bundle is a great deal. I recommend it for anyone who wants a Wii U but is waiting for a good deal.

Since all the major third party games are or seem to be absent from WiiU, this console is basically a first party Nintendo exclusives console. Fortunately that number of exclusives has grown enough for me to justify spending money on a new console.

This is very good for kids and lot of good games to play with it, i like the Mario 3D world very much.

Did a lot of research before finalizing Wii U as I want my 4 yr old also to use and was looking for the ones with less violent games. This is a great product for a less gamer who loves gaming as a fun.. My 4 yr old loves playing her age games

I bought this for my 5 year old son and he loves it of course!!! I like how most of the games are very kid friendly and I can still feel ok when I let him play that I don't have to watch over his shoulder at any questionable material. Love it!!!!

Ours original Wii stopped working....so Christmas came around and we bought the Wii U for my daughter. The best part is that you can still use the games from your original Wii.........so you don't have to start over with a new collection of games.

Great system, couldn't believe the HD quality on our smart TV. Looks like a 3D TV even when its not. Graphics are fantastic. Can't say enough good about it. Grandson is quite a gamer and loves this equipment. Most definitely would recommend.

Just like the description says, I've been a fan of Nintendo gaming since my first console. The Wii U is pretty cool itself, but the Mario 3d World feels like its made for 4 year olds, with the cheesie meowing and Mario's weird voice especially at the startup screen. Mario, the king/father of games, is getting too cutsie. Mariokart 8 is fun. Still waiting for Zelda though... Would like to use more than one game pad with one wii u also.

This is an awesome game system both for kids and adults. You can play games or use it to surf the internet and watch movies on Netflix. You can program your TV and Video Remote controls and use the game console for all remote control functions.
