The WiiU is suitable for all ages. The gamepad doesn't need batteries which is a positive change from the original Wii remotes. It is definitely a lot of fun! If you're thinking of getting it, just get it! You won't regret it.

my 5 year old son is more than happy with this product, he used to play with the regular wii, and updated with this product, control console is amazing and he got familiar pretty soon with everything and begun playing.

I already own one and bough his as a gift for my nephew. It has great graphics, online connectivity, and the off-TV play is great! This bundle also comes with two games that are great for the entire family or for going solo.

Many, Many games for this box. Grandkids love it. Even have some old Wii games that run on this box. Other game manufactures should also be backward compatible with the older games instead of having to buy all new.

I know Nintendo hasn't done its due diligence in making sure that this system thrives as well as it could. I say for fanboys of the Nintendo games and for children this is a great system worth having in your arsenal!

A great gaming console! You can get all the 64 games. Only negative is no blu ray.

We were blown away by the incredible graphics! Love the fact that we can still use wii games on the wii u and I think this system is ideal for younger players. Definitely a great upgrade and fun for the whole family!

My son loves this and likes that he can still play his games if we're watching tv...I also like that we can use our old wii equipment and games in this new console. Over all me and my family love it and have fun playing!

I love Super Mario 3D World. It's a lot of fun with friends. There's a new bundle that comes with Smash and Splatoon and I think that's a better value. As for the Wii U itself, the library is lacking outside of first party titles. As your main gaming machine, you'll be disappointed unless you really love Nintendo. The Wii U is better suited as a complimentary console to your PS4/XBO/PC.

This console was very good to my kid and she is only 5 years old. It's been 4 months and she keeps playing it like it was new.

All fine with the game console and working as expected. Kids having lots of fun, but wish there were more games available. I almost overpaid during pickup, because the cash register added a yearly game membership that I didn't want. I noticed just in time before accepting the charge. Best Buy should get customer's conscent before adding extra charges to the account. For the rest, all well.

The Wii U as of now will give you the biggest bang for your buck. While mainly a first-party only console they easily have the best first-party lineup on the market by far. Plus with the easy and fast connectivity with the 3DS you get more out of both.
