    Scheduled installation and did not show as scheduled. Rescheduled a second time however received message from Best Buy approved contractor day prior they were not available due to staff calling off and would reschedule for Monday. Called Best Buy today and now told earliest is Thursday. DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING INSTALLATION.

    The audio visual service tech who put up my cameras was professional and did a great job. He explained how everything worked before leaving, and made sure the cameras were positioned just the way we want them. Very good

    Giving 4 stars because this item was a little pricey. Geek Squad could not install because it was new construction and there was no power yet

    I bought this to keep an extra eye on my mother when she was home alone but they don’t always pick up every little detail and learning the system took a little time but it works good for what I needed it for.

    Technician was almost an hour late. And my wires are exposed. Contacted support regarding dissatisfaction and they were no help at all.

    Two guys came to do the camera and TV installation and they did it very fast. Both are super professional and did not leave any mess or whatsoever. I couldn't be happier with the Geek squad service.

    Bryan and Reuben, a superb Geek squad team, installed my outdoor security camera system including dvr and remote phone access. They were thorough and knowledgeable, demonstrating a great attention to detail. They gave 200% plus! Years ago I used a different service to install an outdoor security camera system who were terrible compared to my experience with this installation. Today's service by Bryan and Reuben was outstanding in all respects.

    I had a technician called Mark who is the third-party contractor with Best Buy and he did an excellent job, not only just for installing our outdoor security cameras but also making sure our system worked properly.

    Failed at camera set up & customer service!!!!

    As a total tech support member since 2019, I’ve used services for several in-home projects & were great thus far (ONLY reason for giving 1 star). However, when trying to have pre-existing exterior cameras connected to wifi, this service absolutely failed. The 1st tech consultation told us we HAD to purchase an NVR which was $400 in order to access the cameras. As our cameras were already wired & set up, the tech said he’d relay that we only need someone to come & hook up the camera wires to the NVR. Several weeks passed & we never heard back from him & had to start from scratch because geek squad apparently didn’t have notes explaining the 1st visit. Months later 2nd tech came out to hook up but told us the NVR we bought won’t work & he can’t figure out how to set up. So now we are out $400 and have no cameras!!

    The guys who came to install both our cameras and mount the TV were extremely competent and knowledgeable. Set up the TV and firestick after getting the TV on the wall and full explanation of the cameras and the app. Great job!

    The reason for such poor review are as follow: 1. I called to schedule the 8 wired security camera installation appt. The morning of the appt, the person who was suppose to come called 15 mins before the appt time. He said he was not aware that this job was for wired! He needed to reschedule because he was by himself and this job would require 2 people. 2. The person who was suppose to do the job then stated he can do the job but had to be at the end of the day. He came at the end of the day BUT then said Best Buy has a policy that if it is more than 15 ft, he won't do it. So job was not done. 3. Qeek squad should know better to send out 2 agent for the job. I provided the serial number, the model and stated I needed WIRED. 4. Encountered a RUDE, agent when I called back to cancel an appt. 5. Will cancel total tech support. Why would they send out 1 person when I asked for wired camera installation. How am I to know that their agent won't install camera if the home is 15 ft.

    Your team arrived on time and got right to work installing my Lorex wired 6 exterior camera system. They did a nice, clean job of mounting the cameras on the outside of our house and in fishing all the cables from the attic down & through the wall to the NVR located in the living area. I would use them again!

    Geek squad recommended and installed our new Ring security camera system and we are pleased beyond all expectations and if we need any more security items we will always buy Best Buy and have installed by Geek squad and request our #rd party installer.

    Camera works ok, but the actual recorder is so loud and has off gassing so strong its nearly unbearable.

    Time on my camera's recording wrong

    Mr. Pernell and his partner worked very hard to get my camera's up. My DVR has the wrong time for the recordings and I have a couple of camera's needing to be repositioned.
