Didin't hold up for 3 weeks. Poor Customer Service

Bought this at BestBuy. After 3 weeks of ownership, the company pushed out an automatic firmware update. After that update, the Pulse stopped accurately measuring steps (as compared to a fitbit, iPhone, and cheap mechanical pedometer. It is also not recording altitude changes. Finally, the screen has gotten so dim that it can only be read in a dark room. As an example, I drove from Tucson to Sedona this weekend to go hiking. The elevation change was 3000 feet by car. Once we arrived, we hiked 8 miles with an elevation change of 530 feet. My fitbit recorded 3600 steps and an elevation change of 132 feet for the day. I've sent 2 emails to Withings about this problem and haven't received a response. Their website doesn't give any other way to contact customer service except by email. Pros: It worked well for 3 weeks Wear it on your wrist or clipped to your belt, or tucked into a "private place" where it won't show Cons: Poor quality - only lasted 3 weeks Abysmal customer service It never did automatically sync with my iPhone but required daily manual syncing. Did I mention really really bad customer service?

Excellent fitness tracker with heart rate/oximetry tracking. It's very easy to use and has detailed tracking via Withing's mobile app and website. It has a long battery life. I like the option to wear it on a wrist, on clip, or carried in a pocket. The display orientation can be changed for readability when worn on the left or right wrist. It doesn't integrate with as many partner apps as some other trackers, but the Withings app is detailed and easy to use.

The O2 is great at what it's supposed to do, it tracks steps and distance, estimated calories, and sleep. It's light, unobtrusive, and easy to use. The O2 saturation sensor is interesting as well. My only complaint is that it's not water resistant, so you have to be very careful about moisture during workouts or just outdoor activity. My other complaint is that all the materials are very soft. Everyday wear has caused significant marking on the band and the face of the device has several scuffs.

I'm a little disappointed, it works, but I feel that the pulse ox reading is not very accurate. It doesn't match up to my other pulse ox device. I like it for the steps and distance, but I bought this one for the pulse ox feature.

This tracker works great for me and my lifestyle. It tracks my sleep patterns, calories, steps taken and even tells the time! It communicates with My Fitness Pal tracker and calculates additional calories I can use each day based on steps taken. I like that it can also be used in a clip on device for difference modes of exercise. It pairs nicely with the Withing scale too.

Nice little fitness tracker. I purchased this one over the competition because of the additional features like; determining your blood oxygen level, versatility of the device (has a watch strap and belt clip). The touch screen is matte so it took some time to get used to that. I will eventually expand my devices too and get the blood pressure monitor.

I did a lot of research before I bought an activity tracker. And the tipping point for the Withings PulseO2 was the elevation tracker, pulse/blood oxygen, and the micro charger port. Have had it for about 2 months now and it is still working like a champ! I would highly recommend this tracker to anyone looking for a full featured device that has more than a couple of lights for information on its display screen. Now if they can make the next version fully water proof there will be no other tracker that can compete with it! Great job Withings!!

    A Simple Step Tracker

This device is a simple step tracker. The Withings App is actually a pretty good app but the method to sync leaves a lot to be desired. Once you open the app, you actually have to put your Pulse in pairing mode to force a sync. Most trackers, even the simplest, will automatically sync once the app is open. The method to check heart rate and O2 is extremely inconvenient if you actually wear the watch. If it's in your pocket, it's not so bad.

I feel that the instructions are lacking. There is nothing in the instructions for the initial start up. Trial and error teaches that you must first charge, scan for with Bluetooth, link to Bluetooth, before the unit turns on. Why Not explain that in the instructions? Overall I give it a good, based on the Bluetooth communications, sleep tracking has flaws and heart monitoring must be entered by hand???

I researched many activity trackers and purchased the Withings Pulse 02. It and the supporting app provides a robust model of tracking the key elements of one's health and fitness. My daughter and her friend now own them and we are in friendly competition. It is great fun as well as keeping you apprised of your activity, pulse, weight, and sleep.

This device is well designed and easy to use but has a problem measuring activity for stationary exercise such as treadmill and bike. It should have a plug to protect the charging port from water damage when sweating as if gets wet more easily than expected.

One if the few fitness monitors that does both heart rate and sleep tracking. Easy to use. Con: heart rate monitoring is not continuous you have to manually place finger on bottom side of device to measure.

We had UP's and they were replaced a couple of times. We like them but fragile. This has a little learning curve but she figured it out after a couple of days use. She likes the readout and that it linked to the weight scale and blood pressure tracker app.
