This new band keeps unhooking itself from the watch plate. So I’m still afraid the Fitbit will come off my wrist and be lost.

Function, the most critical part, horrible. Both bands, primarily the buckle side, disconnect from the forgot causing near losses from the band breaking away from the device. Save your few bucks spent and pay for the real deal or something that stays connected, unless you wear your device for fun, not fitness, or you want to buy a new device when you lose this one. Real bummer!

It started mal -functioning within a week (purchased April 24). By malfunctioning I mean the connection between the band and fitbit never worked properly. Problem 2: I do not know how to get it replaced. Do I have to coordinate ahead of time. Or just show up at the store I bought it at with my band and the 'curbside pickup' box.
