I purchased this card hoping it would work; however, the code wasn't activated and thus useless.

You get free pet. In a way you could say you get what you pay for it. You can get 10,000 crowns or a membership. The 10,000 crowns can you out of the first world. You wont be able to get though the whole next world. You might be able to do 2 parts of next world. It took about 2 weeks to get to me that is standard on shipping. Sometimes they run out. Then it shipped later.

The pet is great, and the crowns are just what you pay for (or sub if that's what you prefer, but crowns get the areas permanently whereas the sub has to be constantly renewed). Good buy.

Wizard101 Great Fun for the Whole Family

I am a Grandmother of eight. I started Wizard101 at the request of my seven year old grandson one weekend when he stayed over. He needed a little help because at the time you had to read the quest they weren't spoken. Well he went home and called me the next weekend and asked me to create an account to play with him. I did and by the end of the weekend I was hooked. We made household accounts for my other grandchildren and Wizard101 became family game time. My sister came in from out of state and when I was busy she played my Wizard with the grandchildren and soon she was hooked. When she went home we played together then my other two sisters and children began playing. We live in Florida, Maryland and Illinoise so we didn't get much time together now we play together at least weekly. We love to PvP. That is the Player verses Player feature. The Grove Girls are a fierce team to beat. It has brought us back together and we are loving it. Younger children will need some help and if you take the time to help you may be hooked too.

Wizards 101 is a kid friendly game for ages 5 and up. This card gives you 20,000 crowns which are in-game currency. In addition you get a magical familiar, which gives you a special power in the game.

Costs the same as buying crowns online, but you get the free monster as well. I'm personally more comfortable with giving my credit card info to Best Buy than the game publisher.

You should buy this prepaid game card. You can pick the 2 month membership or the 10,000 crowns. Which is better? 2 month membership. Why? You get unlimited access to every world in Wizard101. What's not so great about the crowns? You can buy crowns from the Wizard101 website. That is, if you have a credit/debit card.

Includes $20 for a game my daughter enjoys. Also includes a free "dragon?". At any rate, my daughter has used the card and is happy so, I am also happy.

    Great Game...poor customer Service Beware

This is a cool game, However there are many stories about their customer service. My own experience was very poor. They have no phone support all complaints or questions have to go through email only, average turn around time for me was about 24 hours. Customer service will not escalate any issue and since it is email there is not much the customer can do about it. The have harsh penalties for violations considering they are dealing with kids under the age of 13 for the most part. Good game but do your research before you engage with business with this company KingsIsle entertainment inc.

Expected Merchandise but 2-3 weeks late

Expected Merchandise but 2-3 weeks late. Ended up going to best buy and buying one since it was "back ordered". Did keep the one ordered when I finally got it. Had forgotten about it by the time I did get it. It was a gamecard for my grandson for his birthday. Since all best buy stores had the gamecards there was no problem in getting it, except through the on line store. I recommend that if this is a normal problem, all gift cards that a person wants should not be purchased over BestBuy.com. Too bad grandson wanted one from best buy and not a card available at many other stores. I was just being lazy in going to a dot-com rather than in person. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM????
