Better for fans of the series, probably
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll note that I've never really played any Wolfenstein before, and many parts of the game seem dependent on the earlier installments. Which is part of my problem: the game seems to want to do an homage to old video games, but it picks all my least favorite parts of those games: difficult boss battles based on finding the right gimmick to take them down, a one-dimensional and laughably macho hero fighting a one-dimensionally evil enemy, and rather 2-dimensional maps. But in between the poor cut-scenes and awful bosses, it's a solid FPS that will offer at least cosmetically different and fun ways to take on the enemy grunts. Rent it or get it while it's on sale or used; I know I'll be trading in my copy soon, as mildly entertaining as it was.

Fun game

Packed into this game, is enough bad guy fighting, gun wielding, and robot destroying action that will make its fans satisfied with their purchase.

Every game should have online playing available. Half the time I don't even finish the story and go straight to online play. Here I finished he story and now it is over!!!!

Not too shabby

It's good for what it is though, and the ability to use different play styles and level up that style is cool.
