This game in my opinion is absolutely phenomenal I was skeptical at first because of all the hype but the graphics are great the gameplay is great its truly amazing. I'm not to sure why these people are complaining about gameplay as well as physics of the game I do however agree the "DOOM" beta trial is a load of well cant say on here but you catch my drift. Maybe the ones that complained about this game play should go back to playing camp of duty and battlefield "three/four" <==. Which just saying neither of them ever changes Wolfenstein: the new order on the other hand did change for better where as the older Wolfenstein games lacked in physics of in game play although the stories were ok and the online was just pure terror in the older Wolfenstein games this game has a great story it is somewhat of a bummer there is no online but the story makes up for it if you don't like playing campaigns this isn't for you the graphics are amazing unlike call of duty's... which has no grit war games are supposed to be brutal guns blazing not sit in a corner camp wait for enemy's to come to you this game has it all I recommend to anyone who truly likes these types of games.

What a fun FPS I am on the last level. I have logged 58 hours. I like exploring, collecting, and leveling up. It does not need to have mulit player. I have Battlefield for that where thats what they focus on. I love the story line. The CGI Cut Scene at the start of the mental hospital is a work of art. I was disappointing with some graphics. Exploring around I thought that the scenery could have been more clear. But it did run smooth. HATED LEVEL 10. One thing I do think the game lacks is the ability to move in water smoothly. Swimming and the sewer vehicle were not fun at all. I really wish there would have been more fighting on the outside of the moon. Not just three flying robots. That was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I wanted to send a few N-A-Z-I-S across the moon. There were a few glitches and one where I had to reset my progress because I was stuck in a vent.

This is an old school fps and it's a lot of fun. If you loved the Doom series, Quake and Half Life, you'll love this game. It's a bit on the short side, but the unlocks and multiple difficulty settings give it some decent replay value.

I pre-ordered the game, paid full price. For me, it was totally worth it because I'm a HUGE Wolfenstein fan, dating all the back to the early '90's when I was a kid. However, some won't be able to justify the $60 price tag for a 15 hour game. There is no multiplayer. This is not a problem with me, as it's nice to see an FPS once in a while that only has single player, because usually this means the developer spent more time on making a good story rather than building multiplayer maps.

I thought this was just a by-the-numbers FPS, but in fact it's a totally incredible game. Reminiscent of Bioshock (the first) in pacing and storylines, Wolfenstein really makes you care about a protagonist and characters you didn't think you could possibly care for. There is a bit of torture depicted, though, which can be pretty squicky, but otherwise it's really quite great.

This game is really fun and engaging with lots of puzzles as well as good FPS action but sometimes it's frustrating trying to figure out how to get past some boss fights with little to no hints so you die a lot and try again, die and try again, die and try again... Get the point? But, this is not always bad as sometimes you discover things you missed after the first or second death. But like all ALL FPS's I've played, there is no real replacement for peripheral vision and this game fails at this but it's in a big club. Also, there are some surround sound issues, so don't rely on shots coming at you they may be behind you but the sound is coming from everywhere. Also, this is NOT for Children! There are Adult scenes (Rated=R)! And blood so parents, pay attention to the "M" rating. Multiplayer would have been a great addition! Too bad it's missing.

Wolfenstein doesn't bring anything new to the FPS genre but it does everything a FPS should do right. The gameplay is tight with fun story. The game has a variety of things to do so it never begins to feel stale. The length of the campaign is satisfying. I clocked in about 13-15 once the credit started rolling.

I was hesitant at first when purchasing this game due to the fact its a straight campaign kind of game. I ended up getting it anyways and honestly I am quite impressed. The graphics are stunning and the story is great. The game is a point and shoot style but it can get difficult in some situations unless you know the tactics to defeat the opponent. But like all great games, this one has a flaw. Once you beat the game once or twice you get bored and never really want to play it again. The campaign is meant to be played through at least twice (more if you want to unlock achievements.

This game is extremely thrilling. The story line is compelling and keeps you going. At today's prices the game is completely worth it. I think the graphics are great, the story is amazing, and the sci-fi creativity the you going. There are some tough times when low on ammo and trying to figure out how to achieve your objective. The game thoroughly keeps producers put into it is simply stunning. Hurry up and get to the store, get this, and save the world from the control of a diabolical enemy

with all games focusing on multiplayer nowadays its refreshing to play story driven game only. this games story will keep you glued to the screen. picked this up for 15 bucks on sale highly recommend playing this game

It doesn't have multiplayer and i'm totally fine with that. The shooting mechanics and overall story were spot on. I never played a previous Wolfenstein title, but I don't think it matters.

awesome game! $30 hours of single mode gameplay and no mutiplayer, win win for every achievements hunter out there. graphics looks great too, even tho the game runs on ID TECH 5 engine.

Awesome game with great story line.These days we are missing these kind of strong story lines in the games.If you are a FPS fan then , it is must have game for you.

I felt it was a bit short but still a good game. Im at the last part but lost interest. a bit nostalgic too

this game is awesome, it is pretty hard, I am passing it on medium and am already struggling on the first couple of levels. the AI reactions need some work but since its the first installment I wont pick at it this game is great!

Imagine you as your grandfather in wwll waking up to find the Germans won the war,and now everybody who isnt a full blooded german now lives a life of slavery! Thats this game! Instead of the statue of liberty,theres the statue of well u get the hint.thats what he wakes from a coma to see!
