This is what a next gen shooter should look like! Great story with drama, suspense and dialogue.

A very fun game from almost every aspect. The game is pretty much bullet filled Mayham.

Would buy again! I've only played this game for about an hour but so far it's been impressive!

Campaign only game.... the way video games forefathers intended. Long and fulfilling, guns galore, great historical fiction story (what if the Knotzees won the war and conquered all?) I understand this game, some characters, tie into the original dooms or at least one. I did not have that aha moment because I just don't know all the history of doom.

SPOILERS I'm a fan of anything Wolfenstein/DOOM/Quake. So I was excited about this release, especially on Xbox One. I have to say I was a little disappointed. The game is not bad, just not as good as it could've been. For starters, this is an FPS - from one of the franchises that pioneered the FPS. So you expect firefights, gun battles and the like. Sadly, this game promotes, sometimes forces, you to sneak around with a knife. It also forces you to rely heavily on a laser cutter. Not the kind of FPS experience that I was hoping for. There's also no multiplayer or coop. In all fairness, the laser cutter doubles as a very cool laser shooter - though with limited capacity. All of the weapons are a lot of fun to shoot, when you do get to use them. I wish there was a "BFG" somewhere. I really miss having a weapon that will lay waste to everything with one shot. The variety of weapons is nice, as is the dual wielding for some. There are some rare opportunities to fire larger artillery weapons, but it's done sparingly which was a little disappointing #one sequence takes you to a cutscene when you pull the trigger, kinda lame#. The story is nothing spectacular. The "bad germans" won WWII and are the ruling class of Europe. You join forces with a group of resistance fighters in Berlin and lead the charge to take down Deathshead. The dialog is a little cheesy and there are a few too many cutscenes for my taste - some that you can't skip. The ending is very predictable. There are actually two slightly different storylines, depending on how you play the game. The enemy AIs make for fun, challenging targets. The bosses are also pretty cool, but the actual battles were a little boring. There's a VERY cool throwback to old school Wolfenstein within the game #hint: take a nap on the top floor bed when you get to the safehouse#. The graphics on Xb1 are very clean/clear with no frame rate issues that I could see. The unlockables aren't all that great #I thought unlockable concept art died out in first gen console games??#. I did enjoy this game, though it fell short in a few aspects. I plan to keep it and play through a couple more times.

I love this game loaded with action and smooth gameplay

Very enjoyable and challenging through the whole game.

This game was really fun, and it was nice to play a long campaign (about 14-16 hours in one play through). There are two different plot lines, so you can go back and play the other. There is no multiplayer, so dont expect to play with your friends online.

So, I amongst several folks were VERY patiently awaiting the new Wolfenstein game for the next-gen. Was I blown away? Not really, entertained yes.. I have to say that for all the hype, it's been a pretty casual 3 hours of gameplay. I honestly feel like that once I complete the campaign, I'll most likely end up selling this online so I can move on the next game. Replay value is moderate, but I know there are other titles that are coming up that I'd rather keep in the long run. Not gonna knock it, but the game is just fun. Not gonna say it's a lifer.

I actually really liked this game. It was a good first person shooter and was longer than I expected. Just like any other first person it is doesn't have much replay value once you beat it.

This game is really good and so far I am having a blast. It has nice looking environments and the graphics is pretty good for a game on all platforms. I am playing on the hardest difficulty after starting on normal because the A.I. is lame on normal. Overall if you enjoy a first person shooter story then wolfenstein is for you

There are a ton more options out there now but it was a good launch game.

Straight forward story with no online distractions. The history of the world has gone a different direction. Learn what happened and correct the event. Major choice near the beginning changes the story. Lots of perks and progression to keep gameplay evolving.

I've never played a game in the Wolefenstein series, and you dont have to to follow this amazing story. The game is well done with over the top carnage. A lot of fun and a truly amazing story.

Whats not to love about running around an intense first person shooter in a history altered universe?!?! Nothing! This game is great and lets you destroy Naz-i scum! What could be better!

I've been a fan of the series since the 90's. Its a little cheesy at times but still very fun.

I'm surprised this wasn't up for GOTY it's that good one of my faves this year

I was really hoping for a redo of the real Wolfenstein, this version take a more hard core approach and rea of the gameplay are difficult.

This is one of the best games out there for Xbox one. I have enjoyed playing it since day one. I recommend this game to big time fans of first shooter games.
