camera doesn't work all the time

I had someone dump a old chair in my yard on camera and it didn't record event. I dont like that theres no way to turn off volume on camera so wyze cam can always hear everything.

Beware of firmware updates
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yesterday I updated the firmware on all my v3 cameras to 4.36.11.7071. If you’re an Alexa display device user to livestream from your cameras to Alexa don’t upgrade to this new firmware. Livestream to Alexa display devices doesn’t work with this firmware upgrade. I immediately contacted technical support for help. They are worthless. They won’t even admit there’s an issue with the new firmware and Alexa issues. My solution: took down all my v3 cameras and downgraded the firmware to the last version that worked with Alexa 4.36.11.4679. Everything works fine now! Beware of the firmware update! Technical support is worthless!

Better cameras than this

Playback option no longer works with V3
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 3 of these V3 cams and paid someone to set them up and put them up where I wanted them to be, hoping that they will be working like the other 2 I already had and then found out that the playback option no longer works on them. It still works on the other 2 old ones I have. Now they are out of the return policy and Wyze support doesn’t help. It seems like they’re trying to push customers buy the cloud service. Now I am planning on taking down all 5 of them and the doorbell cam as well and just go with one of the competitors like Eufy or something else.

Doesn't stay connected

They work for a short time at the beginning but then send an error code 90 that they aren't connected even though it shows a good signal. What good is it if you constantly have to manually reconnect

Wish they would go back to what they had

Horrible

Forger recording an event

The recordings on 2 cameras on the micro chip stopped working and after unpluging, removing the card, pluging in, formatting the chip, etc, still no recordings. Their cameras are JUNK. Only reason I gave it a 1 star is because there is not a "zero" star

Worst

Don't waste your money

Frustrating junk

Your only option will be to scan a QR code from your phone or tablet. It's a highly flawed process and there's no way to tell if the camera is actually scanning or even close to successfully scanning the QR code. I tried many, many times and followed the directions to the letter. I also tried suggestions from the WYZE website if scanning doesn't work. All of it failed and wasted my time.
