This game is great. It takes the best of the Batman fight mechanics and Open World game play and puts them into middle earth.

Great game. I love how you can progress with different abilities. However, towards the end of the game it get repetitious.

I really enjoyed this game. Lots of stuff to do. It suffers many of the shortfalls of open world games (sensory and task overload) but the combat and nemesis system do provide a nice counterpoint to those problesm in this game. If you like open world games with fun combat and a neat new system then I think you would enjoy this.

As a avid lover of LOTR series, I was glad to finally have another game to follow the lines, and did it deliver. Awesome combat, amazing nemesis system and stunning graphics are going to make this game GOTY! Do yourself a favor and pick it up today!

Things that are great: Graphics Nemesis system Gameplay (similar to assassin's creed and batman: Arkham games) Not so great Story The nemesis system should be in every video game. it makes every battle with random npc's that more interesting.

Shadow of Mordor uses the tried and true Assassin's Creed open world formula and expands on it with new twists in a Middle Earth setting. If you're a fan of the lore of Middle Earth, or an Assassin's Creed fan, you owe it to yourself to check this out.
