This game was fantastic. Everything I hoped it would be! Plays similar to Assassin's Creed however it seems smoother and more of a challenge at times! Certainly caused some strategic thinking.

This is an awesome game! Plenty of things to do so it's also a good time killer. It can get repetitive sometimes but interchange between different missions to keep the game fun and exciting.

It takes a few plays to get used to the game mechanism, especially the combat. The story line is good and the game is fun. As you increase your abilities more options open up for you and, one has to admit, you can never really tire from striking down Uruks.

I saw this game drop to an insanely low price a few weeks back and had to pick it up. Overall amazing graphics and gameplay. I would highly recommend picking up all the DLC for this too!

I was impressed with this game, a complete masterpiece. Anyone that has played Batman Arkham Asylum, City,Origins. Knows how good they are, well they use the same combat system in this game. Thankfully the game was developed in house by a experienced team at Warner Bros games. They really took the gold on this game, the graphics and sound are hi def, it feels like the movies on the big screen. And the Nemesis system is brilliant.. Fantastic game!

Great game and an awesome story line. This is definitely one of our favorite games of the year. Good buy for the price. I would totally recommend this game. Looking forward to part two!!!

Can't put it much better than that. If you like Skyrim and/or Middle Earth, you'll like this game. Loads of fun to play, looks great, and it makes you want to set aside an entire weekend to watch both the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies.

I picked this up for $20 and it has turned out to be a great purchase. I don't usually play action games but this one and Far Cry 4 have really gotten me into them. Great buy!

This game is incredible- it reminds me of Batman: Arkham City in its openness and gameplay. I haven't played a LOTR game this fun since I had the Return of the King for PS2.

This game tries to incorporate the best elements of Batman: Arkham games and Assassin's Creed with open-world travel, but not a lot of variety in traveling from objective to objective. You might wear out the buttons from constant mashing.

this is a great game it keeps you interested and very long so u won't beat it in just a day and become bored with you. i recommend this title for people who like story games

I was really surprised by this game. Previous LOTR games have been lackluster, but this was like BOOM. Combine Arkham Asylum with Grand Theft Auto and you have Shadows of Mordor. They story is pretty good, but its the combat system that is the star here. It's so smooth, I never was frustrated...and I found it hard to stick to the main objective...I wanted to see everything! One of the best games I've played this year.

Fun game, it is very reminscent of assassin's creed but in a good way. Just probably shouldn't play them both at the same time

When I first saw the trailer for Shadow of Mordor my jaw hit the floor. How? How is it possible that this game looks so amazing? Blending the traversal of one of my favorite game series, Assassins Creed, with the combat of the Batman Arkham games and a new "Nemesis" system on top of that? I had to play this game. Well, now that I have completed the game, I can say that it has lived up to the hype I had created for it. The graphics are good, the story was excellent, and there are plenty of side quest. Very very fun game! Highly recommend!

Gameplay is similar to Batman titles (think it's even the same developer so no surprises there) but with Lord of the Rings styling. Very fun game, rather short though.

good game. open world is fun and graphics are really good. kinda hard to navigate to new missions but once you do its not bad. fighting was awesome and had a good lot feel to it.

This is a great game, at first i thought it was gonna be an assassins creed take off but it is very unique and fun with lots of action. It is very challenging and fun.

the gameplay kinda plays like demon souls, its not a bad game cause it is very violent and the graphics are great as well, but if you don't like the game play on demon souls you might not like this game. otherwise a great game.

Very smooth and enjoyable to play. Little bit much on the violence but the gameplay and mechanics are really good. Gameplay wise alot like the Batman series. I'm not very far into the story so there's not a lot to review there.

Having never played a LOTR game before, Shadow of Mordor is an amazing open world adventure that offers a tremendous amount of high quality gameplay for the money. The new nemesis system featured in the game keeps boss combat fresh and engaging, by having Captain's learn and remember your previous encounters. If you enjoy open world action adventure games, then you should certainly pick up Shadow of Mordor.
