This is the best game I've played in years. Gorgeous graphics, an interesting story, and extremely satisfying game play. The nemesis system is as revolutionary as all the previews said... You'll face certain enemies several times, after they've previously defeated you or after they fled from an earlier fight. It motivates you to come back again and again. Brilliant game; I can't recommend it highly enough!

It has an interesting storyline, fun mechanics, and great graphics. The only down side is that it can take awhile to finish the game. There is a lot to do in game.

I bought this game based on other reviews. I am not a fan of LOTR, so much of the lore is lost on me; however, this is a really well done game. Highly recommend

This game truly blew my mind as has RPG, stealth and combat elements. Was a great surprise as orignally was not going to get it, but certianly glad I did.

I got this while on sale to try it as some friends were playing it. It is a pretty good game, just can't peel myself away from Destiny to play it more.

Great game. Open ended with multiple ways to complete. No two times playing are the same. Like Assassin's Creed but with middle earth characters.

If you love Middle Earth prepare to be amazed. The developers definitely did their research and worked hard to bring you a game that was suspenseful and harsh yet elegant and refined. While the combat system mirrors that of the Arkham series and gives an overall feel of an Assasins Creed game, the Nemesis engine proved to be what we all hoped and dreamed it would be.

Please get this game - it's for your well being of how a franchise that's had a mixed result in the past can be made into a really good game.

A must have if you are a LOTR fan and enjoy the assassin's creed games. The style is similar. The fighting is top notch!

This was the first game I purchased for my Xbox One and was blown away by the graphics as well as the game play. Definitely worth the money!

I challenging game that relies mostly on stealth to get around and slowly dwindle enemy numbers down. Can be very challenging especially learning the controls ans how to determine what can be climbed on in the environment but none the less feels smooth. Pulls into a lot of back story to the series which is really fascinating and helps you delve into the story.

Got this game for my son for Christmas. He loves it! Says it is fun to play! He gives it 5 stars.

If your a fan of the Lord of the rings, this game is for you, tons of quests great game play, and unique fighting style, highly recommend.

Although I have never really been interested in the movies but a game based on it got me interested with its nemesis system, fun brutal combat, open world playground. The combat is very similar to anyone who has played any of the Batman Arkham series anyway I'm having a blast playing this game so I would recommend this to anyone who like a good adventure RPG.

Shadow of Mordor could be considered the gaming surprise of 2014. There was very little hype for it prior to its release, but once the reviews started rolling in it was clear that was going to be something special. And it is! Borrowing from Assassin's Creed and the Batman Arkham series, and sporting a wonderful Nemesis system, Shadow of Mordor is a must buy.

The gameplay is solid and fluid. It is sort of a hybrid of the Batman games fighting system and Assassins Creed stealth. The nemesis system is very innovative and is a nice touch that adds some strategy. The environments gets pretty dull after awhile, but the pacing and mechanics of the game are enough to offset that and not let it drag down the experience.

Tons of depth and quests to grind. Excellent combat mechanics and plenty of open world gameplay to be had. Only 20.00 on a weekly deal.
