Good console, maybe not great console.

I don't know that I recommend it over the Playstation 4, but if you have more friends on the Xbox then it's probably the choice to make. Controller battery life is overall much better than the PS4's, and the Free Games with Gold are as good as, if not better than the free PS+ titles, but that's probably the extent of favorable comparisons in the head to head with Sony where the Xbox wins. Solid game selection, decent implementation of Live( though parties still break up randomly and that always bugged me), and a nicely laid out, if somewhat clunky dashboard design mean that the Xbone, as I lovingly call it, is a decent console that is now getting fairly priced. I'm glad I waited for a price drop/sale to pick mine up, but I'm overall really happy with the purchase.
