This is a good option for those who dont immediately need 1 TB of space. You can always get a larger external harddrive later on for about the same price as the difference between the 500gig and 1 tb bundle.

Owning pretty much every game console I didn't really think I was going to be impressed by the Xbox one but it's not that bad, the robust media options as well as the backwards compatibility make it worth it

I had no choice about upgrading from 360 to the One since I am a Halo fanatic, but this is a great console. I have bought plenty of games and the graphics run beautifully. You will not regret this purchase.

Well, before I purchased the Xbox One on that day, I asked the sales associate if it comes with the headset and he told me yeah comes with the chat headset and a controller. .Went home set it up and there was no headset I called the store and the person who answered my call said just bring it back...Brought the console to the store and the associate was at the desk said ma'am it doesn't come with it...I was a little frustrated about this whole thing but overall product is ok...

I'm enjoying my Xbox One so far, Gears of War Ultimate Edition is great to play again! I've purchased a few games as well, however I will NEVER buy a downloadable full size game, ever! I have great internet speed and this system takes FOREVER to download games and updates. Microsoft would be smart to fix that ASAP because my PS4 is about 1/4 of the time to download updates and full size games. Otherwise it works great and I am happy with my purchase. P.S. Xbox Live is essential to get the full experience of this next generation console. I highly recommend it.

Best gaming system on the market. Has more features and better titles than PS4 or WiiU. The lack of stock rechargeable controller is a con but a play and charge kit for 25 bucks resolves that issue.

The console itself is worth 5 stars, but Microsoft has a new "choose your game" bundle which is why I rated this 4 stars. I would have rather picked my game instead of being forced to go to Gears of War. Nonetheless, AMAZING console. I'm glad I chose this over PS4.

Gameplay has been great. I bought this as a Christmas gift to myself and was excited to play it Christmas day after all of the holiday festivities. Little did I know that I would have to download Gears of War and a ton of updates for the console. I popped in Halo 5 thinking I could just play it but even disc games require a long download (18 ish GB for Halo if I remember right). If you are getting this for a family member, child, etc maybe consider hooking it up and downloading everything necessary to play instead of giving it to them out of the box and it taking an overnight download session to get all of the files (I had around 45 GB for Gears Ultimate, 55 GB for Halo 5, and I thinking 30+GB for updates)

I was always a PlayStation guy until Gears of War came out, which had me purchasing an Xbox 360. From there I went right to the Xbox One. As with the 360, I have very similar complaints between the two systems. I bought the Gears of War Bundle pack but was unable to even start playing it until the next day because I went through over 12 hours of updates and downloads. It's my biggest complaint about Xbox in general. I don't have a lot of time to play but when I do, it's a shame when I have to lose 20 minutes to an hour to a download. Other than that, the system is beautiful. It's pretty quite. I like the dashboard, although there is way too much going on with it. I've only played a handful of titles so far, but every one of them has been great. I'm very happy with my investment, I just wish Microsoft could work on automatic updates while the system is asleep or something because it can be a real pain.

There's a loooot of updating involved. Unavoidable these days. Also, 500 GBs is not enough. The Master Chief collection took up almost 30% of my memory. If you're a heavy gamer, I suggest splurging for an Xbox with more memory. Or just buy an external harddrive.

My experience with Xbox is quite bit and now having a Xbox One at my use makes it possible for me to do so many things that I couldn't with the 360. Awesome product and I highly recommend.

This is the first "gaming system" I have ever owned and it was simple to set up (and to set up users) and we have had lots of fun already !

I bought this for my teenager. The $100 gift card that was included was a bonus and was the deciding factor for this purchase. He enjoys this console and I used the gift card for myself.

Have always been a XBOX person - I can't log on to my original gamer tag (that had expired years ago - therefore I have no idea what email or password I used back then)- when I first plugged in the system the 500 gb hard drive was 25 % taken and is now at 50 % used without even downloading the gears of war game - the grafics blow away the 360 - the fact that you can't play 360 games on the console is a dissapointment (yes I know they are "fixing this" - but they are not upgrading the games I love - I am enjoying playing the system - (but really Microsoft - the new Halo is a one player game (unless you are online) - don't know what I was expecting when I purchased - but still feel somehow let down

So, I could care less about Greats of War, but they were out the Halo Master Chief bundles, so I got this one. The Xbox itself is a big upgrade from the 360. I'm pretty happy with it. The Blu-ray player is a little buggy, though, compared to a stand alone. It momentarily freezes during playback on occasion. It may be just a software issue, though. I thought that the 500GB hard drive would be plenty big, and for now it is, but it starts to fill quickly. The OS alone takes about a third of it, then any game you buy will install a lot of additional data, even if you run games from a disk. You may want to get the 1 Tb version or see about an external HDD to add some capacity if space gets tight. All in all, I highly recommend the Xbox One, if for no other reason than Halo 5 is about to be released and you can get some great older games for free with a Gold membership on Live.

Was on the fence about buying ps4 or the xbox one, glad i chose this system. The 500 gb is ok shoulda bought the 1tb. Have like 4 games installed and it ate up more than half my memory..

The X Box One is a great game console with great graphics which can bond friends and family with great sports game like madden and fifa. It's great technology n graphics will amaze you..

Awesome for gaming. Games are epic. Set up was easy. Can watch TV at snap with a headshot if need be. Then share the video to my friends.
