Great system for gaming, not so great for apps
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Xbox One goes head to head with the PlayStation 4 and comes out a powerful contender in the games department, however, with few exclusive titles, there seems to be little reason to buy the console. Also, App support for Bluray is buggy--and for hobbyist movie makers, it refuses to playback non-studio released discs. Even though the console benefits from updates, standard apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime video can lockup or playback can be erratic. Also, the Xbox One DOES NOT play nice with Apple branded routers. You may have extreme difficulty getting online if you have an Apple Airport router.
