A great start, and a great piece of hardware

The ability to switch from cable to a game without even touching a remote is really a great feeling, even though that may just sound lazy to some. A lack of early launch titles can be a drawback, but the games currently available from Forza to Titanfall are outstanding. Graphics quality is an unexpected major leap from previous consoles.

Solid gaming console but still waiting for a WOW
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When Xbox One was originally release, I vowed never to own one due to the way Microsoft treated their fans. Unfortunately the distant family went with it so I decided to give in due to a good online deal. The initial setup was annoying due to the fact that it required a full software update which took about an hour even with 100mbps internet. Each game you buy also requires a full install which is annoying when you just want to sit down and play. Other than software annoyances and the uncomfortable rumble triggers, this feels pretty much like a heavily upgraded Xbox 360. I am very glad to have a Kinect free system as well. If you can get the system and a game for under $400, I would say it's worth it. I'm still waiting for a game worthy of the hardware though. Although I was Xbox all the way for the last two generations, I have to say that I would rather play my PS4 99% of the time.
