The new Xbox is incredible! I currently have all systems and I spend a lot of time on the Xbox One. Can't wait for this year's big titles to come out in the next few months!

I love this system. You can go right back to your game after turning the system off. I'm not a big fan of loading every game but i had to do that on my PS# and PS4.

Wasn't planning on buying one, but BB had the mystery Black Friday stock so I bought one to try. Gaming selection decent compared to early release PS4 games. Controller still like the 360 controller..... sappy. Our PS4 gets more use and won the console war in this household. Probably our last Microsoft unit.

I bought this system for my husband for his birthday. The graphics are great. However, this is seriously the most frustrating gaming system on Earth. It takes a very long time to load ANY game (1 - 2 hours sometimes and this is just to PLAY a game). It also freezes CONSTANTLY making it impossible to play any games unless you call XBox support. I honestly don't have time for this. Unless you have an IT specialist on hand to troubleshoot, don't buy. Seriously not a fan.

Too many bugs. Spend more time fixing than playing

I'd compare it to upgrading your PC to Windows Vista, but it's an all Microsoft product, so it's worse than that. Games won't load ( solution is to disconnect from internet, delete file, install again, reconnect to web, then update) Apps freeze up while updating. Games are automatically loaded to hard drive, so while 500gb sounds awesome, get the 1tb models recently available if you're gonna buy it. Games and apps continue to run in the back ground (just like windows 8 apps or iOS devices). Haven't figured out how to make them stop so you can just try again. Which brings me to the next point. Navigation is cumbersome and seems like they made it difficult to find and access even the simplest of settings. Remember how you could go in and delete just one game's saved data? It was great for starting over or freeing up space. Oh, that might be there, but since the home, start, and back buttons names and functions have completely changed, I haven't figured it out yet. Just finding settings is weird. Press the menu key, but only if il you're on the right screen. I recently bought The Master Chief Collection. It froze up loading today even though I've played it once before. I had to delete saved data for all games. Removing the disc and power cycling the console did nothing. Just frozen at the menu screen. After deleting saved data for all games, it did load up, but now I can't watch Nighfall, the live action Halo TV series. Yes, I have the Halo TV app loaded. Either I way I go to access Nightfall, thru the game or thru the app, it tells me I need to buy the game. Maybe it's the game's fault, but i doubt it considering it can't even load games most of the time. And that game is also a Microsoft game, so yeah, the blame is all on them. If you like windows 8 (even on a non-touch screen pc) or you like iOS, then maybe you'll be able to figure this console out. (It reminds me of iOS and Windows 8) It's just not very intuitive to me. I like windows 7 and Android devices. Easy to find and control just about everything. I'm going to try to get thru Master Chief collection and the tv series and then I'll probably sell it. I just don't see how it's going to be even "ok" long term. The hard drive is already 80% full and we only have 8 games. My son thinks we should just switch to PS4. Can't be any worse.... Microsoft needs to take a step back and get back to roots. It's like they took everything that was great about their first 2 consoles and threw it in the garbage.

Remember, this does not come with Kinect sensor. If you want Kinect, you have to purchase the $499 version. Just wanted to give a heads up

Just bought console yesterday took 4 hours to get up and running because updates had to keep restarting. It would make it to 90 percent then said there was an error and had to restart back from the begining. Controller lasted 2 hours and now will no longer connect to system unless on usb cord. Yes I have tried the reconnect buttons. Highly dissatisfied with product.
