Being that I'm not that tech savvy this whole console has been a headache for me. Maybe once figure this whole internet based game system out my review will be better

Purchased to game in 4k only to realize it's not true 4k, just upscaled. Sold it then purchased a One X.

My son wanted Xbox to play fortnite on so I found different one that had that game

Xbox is ve one upon delivery from across country my son's bday present that doesn't work. Turn on and numbers across bottom of screen and all black reading factory restart and all that. Bringing it back Saturday for a not broken brand new console like I already purchased

Bad options, dificult, quality image. Remote control

Will no longer read discs 2 months after manufacturers warranty expired. I am so upset with Microsoft.

System is just messed up when I got it, doesn’t allow to click continue after typing in any detail or password.

I returned this for many reasons! Aimed for ages 16 plus Needs wifi or internet Costly to use

It was a good deal of a bundle, good bundle & good price. This XBox One S has held up surprisingly well! Five years and still chug-a-lugging, and we’re not a gentle to electronics kind of household! Even the controllers are still kicking fine! *Knock on wood.

Let me start by saying that ive never owned an xbox. I had originally bought a playstation pro. I wanted a device that would do 4k and gaming. I returned the playstation once i realized it only streamed in 4k. Ive now had the xbox for a week and i'm hooked. The free 3 month's of game pass that's included is awesome, i don't think i could go without it. Streams beautifully, plays discs beautifully, im highly satisfied! I was worried that the device would be noisy like my old ps3, but i can't hear it even standing next to it. I don't think I'll ever go back to playstation.

Worked perfectly but now slowing down, especially games like Call of Duty where update is not working Jan 2 2025.

I own the Xbox one Kinetic and that one thank God still works. I decided to buy the new Xbox One S because I wanted it for my new 55” Vizio P-series tv. I didn’t get the X because for me as a girl is too much. I do play games but I watch more dvd movies in 4K. I like the fact that is not too big, it is very quiet, not noisy. Doesn’t take too much space. I love the image quality on the games and the fact that has more space to save games etc. I am very happy with my purchase.

$199!! The price is right! The only disappointing thing might be the game that comes with it but who cares for the price!

My review I Can’t give 5 stars Due ms had years make this more ps4 like As ease of used. This system ms care more A cute tiny media drives ms could of added 15mm 2.5 have the hard drive could be bigger & A disk drive in that size but faster would be quicker to install games. This system so Online focus like ms not known usa has Slowest internet ever You need cable internet look for bargains example above 25 meg or fiber Net Isp but Affordable prices as Google fiber and many others. Note Many Good and hype games have huge updates and file sizes. Getting system Cheaper I will forget that stuff Glad Have 1 Tb Hdd and 4k bluray Player. See I got cheap games for it it’s okay after I got used to it, I still Perfer ps4 and XBOX 360 systems.

Good console for any kid that would want to play..

My sister was a hard core ps4 gamer and now she has this console. My husband has the gears of war 4 edition 1 tb and I have the blue 500 gb edition. We all love them. My sister plays the Xbox’s more than her ps4 at this point. Love the lay out of everything. Definitely sticking with Xbox

As a PC gamer, I was ultimately severely disappointed with the overall experience that Xbox offered. It's a massive step down in every respect. My wife and I wanted to try something different as we've been PC gamers for the past 8 years or so. We tried both Xbox and PS4, the experience was pretty much the same... Bad. The Xbox is extremely slow taking minutes at times to load games. To compare, FFXV would take approximately 1:11 to load on Xbox, while it took about 13 seconds to load on our high end custom gaming PC. There were several instances where we would lose wifi connection and would be forced to restart the console just to make it reconnect. Not sure what the issue was, but doing this took seven minutes for Xbox to return to the dashboard. Speaking of which, the dashboard was far too cluttered with literally nothing but advertisements for other games, and just cluttered overall. Too many button presses to get to one game, too many button presses to start actually playing a game. You have to confirm the controller you're using, Xbox has to sync to the cloud Everytime you play a game, the list goes on. The time from turning on Xbox to being in a game and ready to play was upwards of three minutes. In comparison, it's about 30 seconds on a PC, even less depending on the game. We also had three instances in the first week where the console would freeze and become unresponsive. I've never had a custom PC freeze on me. Updates for Xbox are frequent and take a long time. Worst of all, however, is the available content (games) is just lacking. Theres a lack of exclusives, quality exclusives and really just a lack of games overall. There's no cable for the controller, which means you have to spend extra money on either batteries or rechargable options. Also, the graphical fidelity was lacking to say the least. Where they reduced graphical settings was quite obvious, and sadly there were still frame drops in nearly every game we played. I also think it's important to mention the almost required Xbox live subscription. While it's not required, one would be foolish not to have one. That said, it feels like robbery. I couldnt imagine the outrage there would be if Steam decided to start charging people $5 a month. To sum it up. Bad performance, extremely slow, lack of games, and technical problems. It's just simpley not worth buying. Even if I got one for free, I'd sell it. It's not worth anything to me, and if you played on a decent PC, you'd feel the same way. Bottom line, spend a little extra and get a nice gaming PC, you won't be disappointed.
